Weekend Wrap-Up!

Like always, we had another fun weekend around here.  Let’s recap!

Friday:

After a long week, we decided we wanted to have a fun Friday night.  So we headed to Subway for dinner and then headed to our community rec center.  Does anyone else think Subway has the worst employees of all fast food places?  Usually it is the “sandwich artists” that slow, but we had the dumbest cashier in the world.  She kept asking us what we had ordered and couldn’t seem to get it right even though it was all sitting right in front of her.  We finally had to just tell her, super slowly, what we had ordered so she could type it in one at a time.  It was just too much for her to try and look at it in front of her and type it in at the same time.  LOL.  L and B loved playing with the Green Lantern gear that came with L’s meal.  Could they be any cuter?  L loved playing in the pool at the rec center (they have a water slide, a squirt zone type area, a lap pool, etc.) and was so sad when it was time to go.  Luckily he is starting swim classes soon.

Saturday:
Saturday was a busy day.  I got my spray tan on and did a little grocery shopping.  An early birthday gift also arrived for me.  More on that later this week, but I will say that B insisted that I open it early. He’s the best.  L and I spent the afternoon baking (brownies and cupcakes) while B got organized for the bbq we hosted that night.  Lucas loved driving around his new friends in his car and went wild playing with everyone.  I think all the kids that were over Saturday night went home exhausted.  Baxter, Buddy and B (my three B’s) were also beat.

Sunday:
Sunday was a fairly calm day around here.  We all slept in a little (anything after 8am is sleeping in) and Lucas had to run outside and check on the growth of our strawberries. He so badly wants to pick them, but they just aren’t ready yet.  L took an amazing nap (he rarely naps anymore, so anything would have been amazing) and B and I got some stuff done around the house.  After naptime we went mini-golfing (L’s pick).  As you can see by the scorecard, he cheats.  Puts the ball right next to the hole and knocks it in.  But a win is a win.  We had some leftovers for dinner and L held a meeting with his crew 🙂 before bedtime.  I am ending my weekend with the RHOC reunion.  Loves itt!
