No matter how old I am, I don’t think I will ever be too old for the VMA’s. While I have no clue who some of the people are, I know most of them and love all of the antics that go on.
Let’s start with Lady Gaga. WTF was that? It took me a few minutes to figure out what was going on there. I thought it was someone dressing up pretending to be Prince. Or whatever he goes by now. I’ll admit she can sing, but she’s one strange bird. Did you all see her fall off the piano? It looked like it hurt. But I can never tell with her if things are real or fake.
Next up is Justin Bieber and Selma Gomez. She totally totally gorgeous and I loved her dress. As usual, he looked like a total dork and I hate his hair. I more than hate it. What is she doing with him? And why do girls think he is hot? At least back in the day the teen stars I thought were hot really where hot. Tell me Joey McIntyre of NKOTB wasn’t hot???
And Beyonce is pregnant! Not sure why I care since I have been reading about her being pregnant since like the day after she got married. Maybe she got annoyed with everyone asking her and speculating on it that she finally did get pregnant just to shut them up. I loved her performance and thought her and Jay-Z were very cute.
Britney’s back! And better than ever. I wish she would have performed, but I guess you can’t have it all. Through everything, even Britney’s crazy head shaving, mental hospital days, I always liked her and always wanted to see her get her head on straight. And it seems like she is. Go Britney!!
Of course, what is an MTV production without the cast of the Jersey Shore? I watched the new episode last night and was rather disappointed that Ronnie isn’t the one that sent Mike to the hospital. He pretty much sent himself there. Deena, your dress looked awful. Ronnie and Sam, if you are back together again, I am coming to Seaside Heights to have a talk with you two. And Pauly D, you are the best!
I do not like Chris Brown. At all. It’s not so much what he did. It’s more that I don’t think he cares what he did and never seems to be very remorseful for it. It seems like he is more upset that he got caught than he is that he did it.
And lastly, Nikki Minaj. Nice dress. And hair. And mask. I’m pretty sure she knew she looked crazy when she left the house yesterday. And I’m pretty sure she didn’t care and walked about the door anyways.
