- So now that Lucas is better, it’s only natural that someone else got sick. Who was that you ask? Not me, but B. He started coughing last week and it got worse as the week went on. When he stayed home from work yesterday and had a fever, I forced him to go to the doctor. She hooked him up with antibiotics, nasal spray and some yummy cough syrup with codeine. And what do you know, he’s feeling better already! The pharmacist at CVS about fell over when he got all those prescriptions filled for himself. He never gets sick!
- Oh, and Buddy and Baxter went to the vet this week for their annual vaccinations. Poor little Buddy can’t handle all those shots (I need to have them broken up next time or something) and has been sick on and off for a few days now. Of course, he’s sick for two seconds and then is back to being crazy Buddy. He even tried to chase after someone who was walking down our street the other day. I wonder how long he would have followed that guy if I hadn’t called him back?
- The new kid’s wall letters arrived and I am in love! Worth every penny! And yep,
Iwe decided on a name. And no, I will not be referring to the new kid by his name until he is here. That just creeps me out. And no, he doesn’t have a middle name yet. I am letting B decide that since I overruled his name pick ;).
- I wish there were better search options on Etsy and Pinterest. I don’t know what I want the options to be, just somehow better. I get so overwhelmed trying to search for things. Maybe that’s because I do not always know what I am searching for? I guess that is my problem, not theirs. You can’t just go there looking for “cool stuff” and expect to find exactly what you want (which you don’t even know what it is).
- It was so windy here last night. So windy. Luckily we have no trees or power lines in our neighborhood, so I never have to worry about any damage (*) to our house or cars or anything.
- L has been telling us stories lately and they crack me up. They either start with “Once upon a time” or “It was a dark and stormy night”. I am never too busy or too tired to listen to a story from L. Even at 3am they are entertaining!!
- B is running the Warrior Dash again this summer. Only this time he is running to raise money for St. Jude’s. If any of you want to donate, let me know and I will put a link on here. If he raises enough money, he’ll run in a Speedo…….
(*) My heart goes out to all the victims of the tornados in the South and Midwest. Seeing the pictures on CNN is shocking. I can’t even imagine…
