So What Wednesday

It’s So What Wednesday over at Life After I Dew and I’m linking up! This week I am saying SO WHAT if..

  • I took L to Target and let him pick out whatever he wanted after his doctors appointment on Monday because I left so awful about the shots he had to get.
  • I’m not sure that I would be able to correctly identify every state on a map. Maybe I need to try this and post the results??
  • I get way too excited when a “new person” comments on my blog.
  • I have bought two books in the last week, but haven’t actually finished a book in ages.  I need to go on a long car ride or plane trip soon.
  • Going to bed before 12am is early for me.
  • Getting the mail or a package from UPS is one of the highlights of my day.  It would be one of yours too if you entered contests.
  • I bailed on the purse party and didn’t feel too badly about it.
  • I signed L up for swimming lessons but have NO clue when they start.  Way to go huh?
  • I find explaining the concept of “yesterday”, “today” and “tomorrow” to L exhausting.  It was fine the first 20 times, but now, I am just tired.  I don’t even want to explain to him why people didn’t tell him things tomorrow.  As in, “Nana said I could go up-north”.  Oh really, when did she say? “Tomorrow”.  No dice kid, tomorrow hasn’t even happened yet, so unless you can see into the future….

So what are you saying so what to this week???

For Christmas, Darren got a talking state puzzle (http://www.melissaanddoug.com/united-states-of-america-usa-learning-sound-puzzle). As you put in each piece, it recites the state and the capital. It’s somewhat embarrassing to realize how many of the capitals I don’t know. (Also, one night Leah was doing the puzzle and said to me, “Mom, pterodactyls live in Minnesota.” I was like, “Huh?” I looked at the puzzle piece…no, Leah, EAGLES live in Minnesota.)

I LOVE that you take your kid to target for a present after a Dr’s appt (or shots). I do the same thing!

Yay!!! I am glad I am not the only one! My mom used to take us too!

I get SUPER excited when anyone comments on my blog! So fun! Also, I absolutely wouldn’t know all the states. I don’t even think I could name them. What in the world, I need to go to 3rd grade again.

Oh me too! For sure. I actually need to go to second grade again too since I have no clue how to write in cursive!
