Sunday Social

I’m linking up with Neely again for another Sunday Social:

1. What’s your dream job? I’d love to be a party planner. Or a professional organizer. How fun would that be? I could go into other peoples houses and just, well, make it all better! And a party planner? Well, that would allow me to use all the ideas I have been pinning on Pinterest.

2. If you had just won the lottery and didn’t need to work for money, what would you do with your time? Well, I don’t exactly work for money now? But I get the point of the question. I would probably do some volunteer work. Maybe something with inner city schools?

3. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I believe I wanted to be a lawyer? No clue why? I think it just sounded cool.

4. What piece career advice would you give to someone just starting out in your field? This would be advice for anyone in any field. Don’t let people push you around. Or let people talk down to you because you are young, new on the job, whatever!

5. Biggest Pet Peeves either in life or in blogging or at work: My biggest pet peeve in life has to be traffic. Hands down. Maybe I should change my dream job to studying traffic patterns and working to fix the hot mess that occurs on the freeways / surface streets on a daily basis. My biggest blogging pet peeve is the word verification on people’s blogs. I’m dumb and I can never figure out what letters they say? And then I give up and don’t let a comment. Seriously. I give it one try and then just say screw it if it doesn’t go through.

6. Biggest Fears: I mean obviously something happening to one of my boys. But that should be obvious. I am totally afraid of mice. I once spotted one in my condo (this was pre-B) and promptly moved out for a week until it was captured. We also have field mice in the fields (duh) behind out house. After seeing one while in flip-flops once day, I now only wear tall boots while walking in the field. L thinks I am a baby ;).
