Okay so this link-up was a LONG time ago, but better late than never right??
1. How long have you been blogging? And what got you started on blogging? Has your blog changed?
I started blogging after L was born, so just over 4 years. I originally started blogging to document L’s life, but somewhere along the line, that kinda stopped and I moved over here. I am going to get back to that blog, I swear. This blog has been around about a year and a half and hasn’t really changed since I started. At least I don’t think it has.
2. Did you go to college? If so where, and what did you study?
I went to Michigan State University (GO SPARTANS!) and got my undergrad in Accounting. I also have an MBA from Wayne State University. I went to school on weeknights / weekends to get my MBA because I was working. Two TOTALLY different experiences.
3. Where have you traveled?
Gosh, let’s see. I’ve been to Disney World a million times, as well as, various other parts of Florida (Clearwater, Marco Island, Daytona, etc.). In the states I’ve visited Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Las Vegas, Houston, Dallas, Galveston, Phoenix, New York City, Chicago, tons of small towns in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, etc. (work related trips), Philadelphia, all over Michigan, Wisconsin, Vermont (skiing), Raleigh (my brother used to live there) and probably a few other places I’ve forgotten. Living in Metro Detroit trips to Canada are no big deal, so I’ve been to Windsor a million times (you can drink there when you are 19) and Toronto. I went to Europe for a few weeks after high school (France, Switzerland, etc.) so there’s that. Let’s see, what else. I’ve been on a few cruises (St. Thomas, St. Martin, Cozumel, Belize, the Bahamas, Grand Cayman, etc.). I’ve been to Cabo a few times. And of course, that amazing trip to St. Lucia that I won a few years ago. Wow. That’s more places than I thought!
4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would buy?
I am assuming we are talking about winning BIG money here. I would probably buy a beach house on a fabulous island. But not after I went to Vegas and just lived it up for a few days!
5. What are your 3 biggest pet peeves?
1) When people say things like “I have a lot of self-confidence in myself” Duh, who else has self-confidence in you? 2) Chewing gum. Cannot stand it. and 3). Vaguebooking. Enough said.
6. What is your favorite movie?
I’d say my all time favorite movie is Top Gun. Of course, this was made before Tom Cruise turned into a total nut case.
7. What is your drink of choice; wine, beer, or liquor. Or Water, Soda, Tea?
Wine. Or Skinny Margaritas. Of the second set, my favorite is Diet Pepsi. Hands down, Diet Pepsi. I would suck that down all day. Sadly I haven’t had any in a few weeks (eating clean doesn’t include Diet Pepsi), but I still like it way better than water ;).
8. What is something you enjoy to do when you have me time?
Blogging, roaming around Target, playing on the internet. Nothing crazy!
9. If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be?
I know you think I am going to say Target, but I’m not. $10,000 at Target would be too much. Where would I put all that stuff? Instead I’m going with Nordstrom.
10. Share with us an embarrassing moment of your past? Or present.
These happen on a daily basis, so I’m not even sure what to put here? I don’t think I have ever walked into a men’s room or anything like that?
11. What day would you love to relive again?
Hands down the days that L and W were born. Most amazing days ever!
12. If your life was turned into a movie… what actor would play you?
Probably someone like Jennifer Garner. No one too flashy or wild.
13. What are the jobs you had in high school/college/the early years?
In high school I (along with every single one of my friends) worked at the Dairy Queen. Best. Job. Ever. A few winters I also worked at Marianne’s (a now closed clothing store at the mall). In college I spent my summers waitressing at a country club. I also worked at a bar one year and did people’s taxes (Jackson Hewitt) my senior year.

15. If you could travel anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go?

16. Show us the most current picture of you, or your family, or anything of meaning to you.
We tried to get a family picture yesterday, but oddly enough that didn’t go too well. At least we tried.
17. Where do you see your life 5 years from now?
Gosh, hopefully just about the same place. Except I will be in a new age decade. OMG. Well wait, there could be one more kid by then? Maybe? I did comment on Facebook last night about how I needed to get pregnant ASAP so my hair would stop falling out. That is so annoying by the way. Not only do you gain weight when you have a baby you lose your hair? Who thought that one up?
