August Citrus Lane Review

Okay, let me just say that I am in love with Citrus Lane. In love. By some crazy stroke of luck, my Citrus Lane box arrived way sooner than expected this month. You better bet my heart skipped a beat when I checked the mail and saw it in there.

This month’s theme was “Back to School”. Obviously W doesn’t go to school yet, so his stuff isn’t that school’ish, but I’d imagine it’s pretty difficult to have one theme for all the ages groups they cater towards.  Anyways, here is what was in my August box:

~Skip*Hop Hug & Hide Stroller Toy ($10): We got the bear, but I believe there was also a dog too?  I broke this out of the packaging right away and plan on attaching it to W’s carseat.  He’s totally into grabbing at things and shoving them in his mouth, so this is perfect.  And super cute.

~Keepin’ Fresh Baby Food Storage ($7.99): At first I wondered what was I going to do with these?  And then I read the information sheet that is included with the box that suggested they be used for rice cereal and purees when you are on the go.  DUH.  We plan on trying rice cereal soon, so these will be very handy.  Also they are totally adorable.

Andy Warhol’s Colors Board Book ($6.99): We have a crazy book collection (it’s more like a library) here, but this is one book we don’t have!  We love books.  Love them. If L asks for a book, no matter what, I will always get him one.  And I will do the same for W.  How can I say no to learning?  Also, this is great because both L and W can enjoy this.

~Plum Organics Stage One Just Fruits ($1.49): These pouches are the great thing ever.  I’m not sure how they work with babies since they didn’t have them when L was that little, but L digs them.  I plan to make my own baby food this time (heck why not), but I know there is no way I will make everything W eats.  L already eats some products from the Plum line (actually he eats many of them), so I am pretty sure WB will be eating their baby food.  Oh and the box also included a $2 off coupon.

~Mommy’s Bliss Gripe Water ($11.99): So I actually JUST bought this exact stuff last week.  I kid you not.  W cannot stand the taste, but it does seem to help him with tummy troubles.  Because I am crazy, I do always like to have spare products on hand, so I was thrilled to get this.

Just like last month, I love every single product in this month’s box.  If you have little ones and don’t subscribe to Citrus Lane, well, you should.  August’s box had $38.46 worth of products.  Considering that it cost only $25, that’s a deal.
