~I want to have a giveaway soon. Another favorite things type giveaway. I’m thinking a mix of my favorite things, L’s favorite things, W’s favorite things and B’s favorite things. Sound good? Any any ideas?
~I don’t really understand why some popular bloggers are even popular. Not to name names, *cough cough* Cupcakes & Cashmere, KERF, etc. *cough cough*, but some are just flat out annoying. Do people really live like this? Umm, because if I lived like C&C for one day, I’d be the fanciest, fattest person ever. You know what also has me wondering about C&C, but who takes all these pictures of her? Maybe she’s mentioned it in the past, but it looks like she’s on a photo shoot every single day. And don’t even get me started on KERF. Girlfriend is in for a real surprise when BERF comes out.
~I mentioned yesterday that we are having a neighborhood party this weekend. Well, I am supposed to bring a dessert. Does anyone have any ideas? I am thinking something from Pinterest in individual little cups? Nothing super fancy but still impressive.
~I am so loving my monthly subscription boxes. Sometimes the anticipation of the box is better than the actual box. But that’s fine by me. B is digging his Birchbox and was telling one of his friends about it and now he wants to get in on the action too.
~I vacate the house when my “girl” (cleaning girl) comes. Is this common? I don’t want to get in her way or anything. We leave before she gets there and don’t go back until we know she’s gone. I feel like I am invading her space if I am there. I am invading her space in my house.
~I hate when people ask if we are going to try for a girl. Do people just assume you want a kid of the other sex if you already have two of the same? I mean, maybe I’d want a girl, but, if we have another I don’t really care either way. The house is already nuts with all boys so why not just make it a little crazier?
~L got his stitches out yesterday and did amazing. Seriously. The doctor (who I believe was more worried about this than I was) said he did better than most adults. So what if we had to drag his three (stuffed animal) BFF’s (“big doggy”, “little doggy” and “fluffy bouncy”) thru the hospital? And so what if it took us 20 minutes to walk to the office from the parking garage because L insisted we park on the roof so we could check everything out. It was worth it.
