Hunter Rain Boots. I have always wanted a pair of these but never really wanted to spend $135 on rain boots. But when I got my Nordies giftcard for winning the Advocare Challenge, I knew exactly what to get. They are set to arrive mid-September, which is perfect timing. I cannot wait to stomp around in puddles with L!

aden + anais security blankets. I stumbled upon these on a trip to Target last week with the boys. For 50% off I thought why not give them a try. And they are perfect. WB likes to hold on to blankets and these are a great size. And breathable. Which is key since he doesn’t seem to understand that you can’t cover your face with a blanket when you are a baby.

My boys. Yep, it’s pictures of my adorable kids again! But seriously aren’t they cute? WB is loving those snuggles from his brother. And he looks so big. I wish I could just keep them this age forever.

Spartan football! The first football game of the season is Friday night (vs. Boise State) and I could not be more excited. Well wait, I would be more excited if I was actually still in college and attending the game. Or just going to the bar during the game. Instead I’ll just dress my kids up in MSU gear during the day and put them to bed prior to 8pm so I can at least watch the game in peace.

The patio. Tons of progress was made Day #1. Day #2 they were here for 10 minutes. But the permit man was here yesterday and approved the job, so fingers crossed that the concrete gets poured today. I am pretty sure I know a certain little boy who would love seeing a cement truck in his backyard.

I am beyond obsessed with IKEA’s Ektorp chairs. I now own three – one in the basement, one in the office and one in the playroom (aka the choo choo room). The frame is $220 and then depending on what color cover you get depends on how much your total is. The white cover is $29. Yeah, you can get a super stylish, super comfortable chair for $249. The red cover is $129 (or $349 for the entire chair). Some other colors are more ($399 for the total chair). And if you get a stain on them, just remove the covers and throw them in the wash.

All we need to finish the office is a small tv. A small cheap tv. So of course, I’m stalking SlickDeals. Because if there is a deal, these people know about it. I may not know the best place to get the best deals on everything, but someone else does and will post it.

As always, I am loving B. He works and goes to school and me? I can’t even wash his laundry in a timely manner ;). What can I say, I have the best husband in the world (*).
(*) In case you can’t figure it out, I am being totally snarky. I hate when people say they have the best husband in the world. Or that their kids have the best father ever. Umm, no, they don’t.
