Black Friday ~ A Poll

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

I have talked about Black Friday a few times on here, but now that it’s getting closer and the ads are out, I gotta know. Are you going out shopping? And if you are, where are you going? After dinner Thursday or early Friday morning.  I have gone out a few Black Fridays, but I have never ever waited in any crazy lines or been part of a stampede at Walmart or anything. Now I have camped out overnight to get Final Four tickets (GO GREEN!) and waited in line for a few hours for a Wii when they were super hard to get, but I have never slept at Best Buy for a week in an effort to get a crappy $200 laptop or whatever.

Now I can maybe see doing it for the fun aspect, if you are into that kind of thing that is. I imagine it’s a party atmosphere and people get super into it with their fancy tents and all that, so it’s not totally awful and boring. But still I can’t see myself doing it. Don’t get me wrong, I love me a good deal, but I do not love fighting with other people to do it. I might venture out to Target mid-morning. And maybe one or two more places which I haven’t figured out yet.  Alone of course. Because little kids + black friday = no way. And I have already started doing some pre-Black Friday shopping online. I got WB some Green Toys from Groupon yesterday and then bought L and WB some things from Ecomom. They are having a great deal right, which is way better explained here than I would ever do, and I got $102 worth of toys / books (no tax and free shipping) for $42! Not too bad. And guess what? I’m almost done shopping for the kids.

Okay, so tell me, are you going out for Black Friday?  If so, where?  What are you in search of?  Something specific or is it an annual tradition?  And if you have heard about any great deals lately, I want to hear!
