~Well Thanksgiving weekend is over. And now the holiday craziness has officially begun. I think the only good thing that comes from an early Thanksgiving is that it gives us all MORE time to get things done between now and Christmas! Like shopping. And wrapping. And drinking Starbucks out of the red cups.
~Did you go out shopping for Black Friday? B and I went to Target around lunchtime and picked up a few $5 DVD’s (wait, maybe they were $4?). And scored the free $10 gift card with $50 purchase. We actually somehow scored a $15 gift card? I’m not real sure what happened with that, but I’ll take it. I also did some online shopping (Sephora $10 items, WalMart, etc.) and will be taking advantage of some of the Cyber Monday deals out there today. I’m working on a post with my favorite deals, so stay tuned.
~L went up-north for the weekend with my parents and had the best time ever. I believe he told my mom “I love this day” on Friday about a million times. They had SNOW up there and OMG it was like he’d never seen it before. My cousins kids came over and they all just had a ball! We all missed him though. It’s way too quiet when L isn’t home. Creepy quiet. I’m not sure WB knew what to do without him?
~I’m trying to work on MY Christmas list (yeah I still make one for my mom. And Santa.) and I’ve got like nothing. Maybe a sewing machine? But what else? I don’t just want to ask for gift cards. What are you all asking for? I really wanted these Coach boots, but luckily (?), I saw a real picture and I wasn’t in love anymore.
~B and I finished up Season 4 of Breaking Bad and are trying to figure out how to get the first half of Season 5 free somewhere. Any ideas? In the meantime, we started in on Season 1 of Homeland and are really liking it so far. Do you watch? What else should we be watching?
~So B went to the club Saturday night with some of his friends. And Flo Rida happened to be there. And wouldn’t you know it, he made it rain. No seriously. My husband was at a club where a rapper made it rain. He came home with about $70. In singles. So either his story is true. Or he’s a stripper.
~And finally the other night, when I should have been sleeping, I realized that I never used Swagbucks anymore. I used to use it all the time and would earn lots Amazon gift cards. So I’m using it again and will be back on the road to earning free sh*t soon!!
