Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
Since a lot of us will be attending Christmas parties and cookie exchanges and all that in the next few years, I thought I’d take a poll and see what your all-time favorite Christmas cookie is. And yeah, you can only pick one. Hands down, my favorites are Hershey Kiss Cookies (aka Peanut Butter Blossoms). They are THE BEST. I roll mine in colored sugar (red and / or green) to make them festive. Some of my other favorites include sugar cookies and spritz cookies.
There are so many Christmas cookies out there, it’s hard to even pick a favorite. I probably shouldn’t even have done a poll because there are WAY too many options. But if your favorite isn’t on my list (and it’s probably not) please share it! And if it’s not super duper top secret, I’d love a recipe! I (with L’s help of course) am going to make a bunch this year for B’s work, to give to the neighbors, etc.
Rosettes! http://allrecipes.com/recipe/rosettes-i/
They involve hot oil and are all kinds of dangerous, but they’re soooo good!
Vanilla Kipferi They are traditional Austrian cookie and taste so yummy! Im also country the Mint Oreo’s as Christmasy haha
I go with Sugar cookies. I’m a pretty boring cookie eater but these are what I always gravitate to.
My Grandfathers parents were from Belgium. I’m actually 50% Belgian, 25% French… Then English/Irish/Scottish/Scandinavian. Lol. Every year, for Centuries the Soenen side has always made Belgian Lukken. And No, the liqueur in NOT optional.

This is not my Grandparents recipe but my Mom and Dad were busy and couldn’t grab it! They are time consuming but worth it.
As if I would say no to booze.
I do love the hershey kiss cookies but I will pretty much eat any Christmas cookie. I think I will roll mine in colored sugar next time I make them since I will be making them for a present for someone.
I was like, “what’s a Spritz cookie?” I look it up, I’ve only been eating Spritz cookies for years!!! I had no idea thats what they were called though! Thanks for the info! I have to day frosted sugar cookies are my favorites but for sure hands down my favorites are peanut butter balls dipped in chocolate! Not sure what they are called but the wife of an attorney I used to work for, used to make these for me and uh, they were so delicious… I no longer work for that attorney so I no longer get those delicious peanut butter balls dipper in chocolate anymore :o(
Macaroons with milk chocolate bottoms. My grandma makes amazings ones 🙂
Don’t know what they’re called, but my favorites are a nut-spice filled phyllo-dough cookie that are amazing! Those and chocolate cookies with peppermint chips. I like to sandwich them with peppermint ice cream for a treat. Mmmm..
Buried Cherry Chocolate Cookies…there are a bunch of versions out there but I make my cookies chocolate as well 🙂
The peanut butter balls are Buckeyes! But my fave is a chocolate chip merengue cookie. Or soft ginger cookies. Or Mexican wedding cakes. Ahhh Screw it, I will eat them all!
Those Rolo cookies I pinned on pintrest r amazing
I love sugar cookies and peanut blossoms, but my favorite is ritz crackers with peanut butter dipped in chocolate almond bark or chocolate chips. YUM!! They are easy, but can be time consuming too….but totally worth it! 🙂
