December Barkbox

Baxter and Buddy’s Barkbox arrived yesterday (along with about a million other packages) and I let them dig right into it ;). They are always super excited and look forward to seeing what’s in the box.  In case you aren’t in the know like the furries are, BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs.  Packages start at $29/month, $22/month for 3-months or $17/month for 6-months.

However, I got my 6-month subscription through Groupon for $60, so I only paid $10/month.  They have Groupon deals fairly often, so if your dogs don’t mind waiting, I’d totally wait till it comes up again.

Now let’s get started.  Here’s what was in this month’s box:

The Information Card

It doesn’t come right out and say there is a theme, but I’d clearly call this a holiday box.  Here’s why:

Bocce’s Bakery Holiday Feast Treats ($9.50): These treats are made from all natural chicken, pumpkin, cranberries and cinnamon in an NYC bakery. Baxter and Buddy are kind of picky about their treats (they like soft ones), but I bet their cousins wouldn’t mind taking them off their hands!  Oh and I am starting to realize that Baxter and Buddy may eat better than I do.

Fresh Dog Oatmeal Shampoo ($1.41): This stuff smells amazing and I am certain Baxter and Buddy are super excited about taking a bath with it.  Okay, maybe I lied about that last part.  But I am excited to have two super good smelling dogs.

Simply Fido Holiday Moose ($11.99): Okay, Im just going to admit it.  I briefly considered giving this to WB instead of the dogs.  It’s that adorable.  And soft and I love it.  Simply Fido is a Brooklyn-based organic toy supplier and they have some of the cutest dog toys I have ever seen.  If WB sees this and wants to claim it as his own, that’s fine by me!

Red Velvet Puppy Cake ($6.99): Seriously, red velvet cake for dogs?  Seriously?  It’s wheat-free and you know I am going to make it for the dogs.  I mean, I am certain I have done crazier things.  Why not make them a cake with frosting?

All totaled I came with with a value of $29.89 for this box.  Not a bad deal at all considering I only paid $10!  If your dogs can’t wait for a Groupon deal or you want to give a fun (late) holiday gift to some special dogs this year, click you can order thru my BarkBox link and enter code “RAMBLING10” to save $10 on your order.

The furries and their Barkbox!

If you click the clicky BarkBox, you will be directed to the BarkBox site. And if you buy something I will get credit and Buddy and Baxter will love you forever and might even come

Spread the love
