Sorry this is so late. It’s been a busy few days around here. You get sick for a few days and chores start to pile up!

1. How sweet are sleeping kids?  Seriously.  Big doggie and little doggie and L.  BFF’s.  I need to look and see if I can find a picture of what they looked like when we first got them.  They’ve taken quite a beating.

2. WB refuses to just sit nicely in the shopping cart.  Nope. He has to twist and turn all around and put his feet up and try and lay down so he can see the lights better, etc.  It’s so funny.  And I know, I know, I don’t have the cart cover on.  I’m ashamed.

3. B was trying to get WB to “snuggle” with him the other day.  Ha.  If you want to snuggle with WB, he better be sleeping.

4. A lot of people were surprised when I posted a picture of WB sucking his thumb, but yes, he is a thumb sucker.  Pacifiers confuse him and it’ s hysterical to watch him try and put one in his mouth.  It never works.  Although I will totally regret it later if I can’t get him to stop sucking this thumb, but it does come in handy because he always has his thumb with him!

5.  I think B has drank tea or coffee or hot chocolate out of my Bodum mugs from the December PopSugar box pretty much every day since they arrived.  He loves them and doesn’t use anything else anymore.

6. We finally worked on L’s Christmas List last night and when we got to the last line on the list, he told us to put “surprise me”.  B and I were cracking up.  And notice L doesn’t have holiday pajamas on either.  Another shameful moment for me.

7. I got the best news ever today.  My insurance company is covering WB’s formula (*)!!  We got the mail and there were were a few envelopes from the insurance company with checks in them!  I submitted the claims back September for August and September and never heard anything.  So I waited.  And waited.  And today my waiting paid off!  I spent my afternoon working on the claims from October, November and December so I can mail then tomorrow!  This was big news around here as that formula was costing us more than $10/day.

8. Is Baxter not the cutest thing or what?  I was trying to get a picture of WB and B, but Baxter is the real star of this shot.  Even yawning he’s cute!  WB and B are too, but you know what I mean ;).

9. And finally, that little dusting of snow got L super excited and had to go outside (of course).  It was freezing out, but he loved every single second of it.  He probably doesn’t even get cold because he’s so bundled up.  B on the other hand?  Was FREEZING!

(*) He’s on Similac Alimentum (Read to Feed only) for a cow’s milk protein allergy.

I am so excited for you that your insurance Company is covering your formula! My daughter was on Elcare for about 12 monts and cost us a fortune! Though it was never covered by our insurance company, ugh!
