Earlier today, my biggest concern for the day was getting my Citrus Lane box today so that I could blog it later. After hearing about the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in CT today, I feel dumb for being concerned about something so trivial.
My thoughts and prayers are with every affected today. It makes me sick to think someone would do something like this at an elementary school. Those were little kids. Just a bit older than L. When I went to pick L up from his school today, all the parents were talking about it (of course) and everyone seemed to hugs their kids a bit tighter. I know I did.
L is a little young to understand why is going on, but I am guessing lots of kids are going to come home from school today with a lot of questions. Here are some resources that might help:
