January wantable.co Premium Makeup Box

Wantable.co is a new’ish subscription service that offers hand-selected boxes filled with items that perfectly match your style.  You can select from the Premium Makeup Box or the Fashion Jewelry Box (or just get both).

The Box

I opted for the Premium Makeup Box and was thrilled when it arrived yesterday (via UPS).  Oh and I should mention that you can select what types of items you want / don’t want.  I opted for: Mascara, Highlighter, Lip Color and Nail Polish and asked not to receive: Blush, Eyeliner, Brows or Eye Shadow.

First Look

The items were very nicely packaged and it felt like I was getting a present in the mail!  Some of items were individually wrapped as well.  Super cute.

The information sheet

The “information card” is actually an information sheet in this case.  It’s packed with tons of information on everything in the box.  I kinda love it.

Here’s what was inside:
~Color Club Fine Gold Glitter ($4): At first I thought this was a green’ish color, but once I opened it up, I realized it was gold.  The brush is thin, so you could do fun designs and stuff with it if you were talented like that.  I am all about glitter polish, so I love this.

~MiA BelleZZa Illuminati Glow Powder ($18.50):  At first I thought this was blush and I was all WTF, I didn’t want blush.  But I was totally wrong, it’s a fun glow powder!  I tried this out and I love it!  And this might be dumb, but I always love when companies put some sort of pattern in their pressed powders, shadows, etc.

~MiA BelleZZA Sensitive Eye Formula Mascara (Black) ($18.50):  Mascara is my total favorite makeup product and I am super weird about making sure I never use the same tube too long.  A few years ago I got a NASTY eye infection (totally not makeup related, but whatever) and am now super careful.  So basically I am thrilled to get this.

~Swagger Cosmetics Nymphette ($14.50):  I haven’t tried this yet, but I love the shimmer it’s going to add.  Nothing too crazy, just enough!

~MyFace Cosmetics Lil’ Bling Chrome Nail Polish (Limelight) ($12): When I buy polish, I never buy myself the fun colors like this, so I was very excited to see this fun green in the box!

~MyFace Cosmetics Blingtone One Hit Wonder Lip Gloss (Silver Screen) ($20): Now this is WILD!  I am not sure that this is me and may end up passing this along to one of my younger (i.e. cooler) cousins or something, but I totally could have seen myself loving this in my earlier years!

~Spadaro Sole Nero ($6.67): I’ve never heard of Spadaro before, but it appears to be a very high end line.  I don’t love Sole Nero, but it’s not horrid either.

~Spadaro Doux Amour ($6.67): Okay, while I didn’t love Sole Nero, I LOVE Doux Amour!    Probably not enough to buy a $135 bottle of it, but it smells great and I will use every last drop of this sample.  Oh, and it’s a mini little spray bottle sample, which I love more than the other ones.

~kai fragrance: This is a tiny sample, but I from what I can tell it smells great.  I have also heard the candles from this line are great!

All totaled, the contents of the Wantable.co makeup box totaled $100.84 (not including the kai fragrance), which isn’t bad for the $40/month (or $36/month for subscribers) price tag!  I should also mention that if you aren’t happy with with your box, you can return it, free of cost!  The boxes comes with a prepaid UPS return label, so there is NO risk involved!
