1. What is the name of your blog? How long have you been blogging?
Ramblings of a Suburban Mom. I’ve been blogging here for almost two years now. I started a blog soon after L was born (about 4.5 years ago) as sort of a scrapbook of his life, but somewhere along the way that blog ended (I do intend one day to bring that back) and this one started.
2. Why do you blog?
The number one reason is because I think it’s fun. If it wasn’t fun, I wouldn’t do it. It’s for sure “work” but something I love. Plus, it’s a good outlet and a nice way to connect with people! I’ve learned so much from blogging, reading blogs, etc.
3. What is the first blog you ever followed?
Oh my gosh, I really have NO idea. I am going to give it a guess though. Bring the Rain, Eat Live Run, Money Saving Mom, Pray for Coy and When Hello Means Goodbye are all blogs I have been reading for ages.
4. What is your favorite post you wrote in 2012?
Well, I mean I loved them all (after all I did write them)(*), but I personally liked Things That Annoy Me: The Blog Edition (it felt good just to complain), WB’s Birth Story (because it’s not a post a would normally write) and Things I Love Thursday: The Detroit Edition (because it gave me a chance to show that the D isn’t the horrible place its’ been portrayed as in the media).
5. What are your blogging goals for 2013?
My first goal would be to continue to have fun. In addition to that I would like to get a new blog design and maybe even incorporate it. I don’t like to make overly specific goals but I for sure want to try to grow my blog in any way that I can.
6. Top 3 favorite blogs to follow?
I love:
The Hungry Runner Girl: She just seems like a flat out nice person. She goes with the flow, doesn’t complain and is just a fun blog to follow.
A Bowl Full of Lemons: The level of organization on here just blows my mind. I thought I was organized, but no. I am a complete mess compared to her. A complete mess.
I Heart Organizing makes me feel the same way.
and finally
Living…Laughing…Loving… In the interest of full disclosure, I should mention that Cindy is my cousin so that makes her blog even more fun for me. Unlike most blogs I read, her kids are older (teenagers) and she blogs about life with her mom (aka my aunt) who has Alzheimer’s Disease.

Thanks for stopping by my blog 🙂 I have to say – you’re kid(s) are ADORABLE! I say “kid(s)” because I only saw one from glancing at your instagram photos, but I’m guessing you have 2?? I’m not too observant (sorry!). I’m sure everyone is just darling 😉
Also – I’m really not bad with grammar lol – I meant “your”. It’s sad because one of my pet peeves is misusing “you’re and your”. It’s not that difficult!
