Sunday Social

I’m linking up today with A Complete Waste of Makeup for this week’s Sunday Social. I prefer the less serious ones because I like to keep it light around here, but I’ll give this a go.

What is your ideal way to relax? Zoning out on the couch with my laptop, a cozy blanket and some trash tv. I can’t explain it, but when I watch Teen Mom and RHOBH, it’s like I haven’t got a care in the world! I also find laying by the pool drinking giant frozen drinks while working on my tan to be very relaxing. Obviously I would prefer the latter, but let’s be realistic here.

Where is your favorite place to be? Other than my house with my husband and mu kids, I’m going with Las Vegas. No seriously. I can lay by the pool and drink my face off, eat amazing foods or gamble my heart out or dance the night away. I have done each of these things in Vegas and they are equally fun. You know what would be a perfect job? Reviewing Vegas hotels for travel sites. I wonder how one gets that job?

Who do you consider your biggest role model? At first I thought this asked if you considered yourself a role model. Umm, no. Well maybe to my own kids, but not to like outsiders. I really have never thought about this?? I guess I will go with my parents? They are approaching their 43rd wedding anniversary this year which just seems INSANE to me! Hopefully B and I can make it that long!

What does your life look like in 3 years? Gosh, hopefully just about the same? *Maybe* with one more kid? We’ll see about that. In 3 years, WB will be 3 and L will be 7. The furries will be 8 and 9, so I don’t think things will look too much different around here. At least I hope not! I hope to still be blogging and just enjoying what life brings!

If you could go back and change one decision what would it be? Hmm, I don’t know? I would say move out of state after college, but had I done that I probably never would have met B, so that would have sucked. Really there is not one decision I think about every day and wish I could change it? Like if I were LC from The Hills I would regret not going to Paris for the summer internship, but no one ever offered me an internship in Paris, so I can’t regret not going! Can you tell I just watched this episode the other day?

What is your biggest accomplishment in life thus far? Accomplishment? Hmm, I am horrible at this link-up.  Raising some fabulous kids?  Graduating from college?  It’s not like I have won a Pulitzer or anything you know?  I am actually really looking forward to reading people’s answers on this question.  I think the answers are going to be all over the place!

I am having fun reading everyone’s answers this week. I think this was one of the hardest to answer and I am not sure why! I didn’t win the pulitzer prize either. My kids are my biggest accomplishment. 🙂 Happy Sunday

I had a hard time with this one too!! I felt like my answers were all typical…but oh well…it is what it is right? But hi, I’m noel and I’m addicted to trash tv too. Teen Mom 2…omg. Seriously…omg.

You absolutely do not suck at this link up! You’ve answered questions much better than others with their one word, or sentence answers.

A lot of people mentioned college, family, or significant others as their biggest achievement! 🙂

And let me tell you, from personal experience, Paris is totally overrated! lol.

  4. I just found you through the linkup and I have to agree watching anything you don’t have to think too much about like Teen Mom is a great way to relax.

I had trouble with the accomplishment question too. I haven’t made any groundbreaking contributions to society :-p

I think graduating college and raising children are *huge* accomplishments!

I love trash tv too. It sure can make you feel like a normal person.

My hubbie and I struggled with this Sunday Social also. We actually cut out the last question because we weren’t sure what to say. I totally agree with the ideal way to relax – any RH on Bravo or Project Runway will chill me out quickly. 🙂

I was so bad when LC passed that up for Jason! Stupid girl haha

I would like someone to pay for me to travel and check out hotels and all that jazz! 🙂

  9. Niki @ My Life, My Way

I use to watch The Hills too! I love the RHW franchise. My favorite one though is the original one, the OC one. LOL

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    Hey Jennifer.
I love your example for relaxing. I often veg out to TV as well and then wonder how I can be so relaxed after watching people fight on a reality show. 🙂 The best thing about this social is it all about you, so you can answer however you want. So there. If anyone has a problem with that, just let me know.

Thanks for stopping by…I am like you I am a RHW Franchise junkie!!! LOL!! Crazy how watching drama on TV can be relaxing! HA!!!

I can say you were not the only one who struggled with this Sunday’s link-up! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

I’m totally going to Vegas in April. I haven’t been since I was 18, so that doesn’t really count, right!? Going for a business conference, but fun and lounging will definitely be had. I’m so excited I can’t wait!
