Citrus Lane Box (10 Month Old)

I was very excited that our Citrus Lane packages arrived today, because otherwise we would have had to wait till Tuesday! WB (10 months) gets one and I signed L (4 years old) up for one this month as well because they began to offer subscriptions up to age 5 recently.

The Box

Beginning last month, Citrus Lane did away with their themes and began to send packages that better fit the age / needs of the kids.

First Look

I am going to do a review on WB’s box because that’s what I have been doing all along, but I will include a few pictures of L’s too, so you can get an idea of what the older kids get.

The Information Card

Here’s the details:

~Spring is Here from Chronicle Books($6.99): I’m unclear how Citrus Lane does it, but they ALWAYS seem to be able to find / send books we don’t have yet. This is an adorable book and I know that WB (and even L) will enjoy reading it!

~Toddler Tambourine from Hohner Kids($11): As luck would have it, we have a tambourine already. But obviously two super loud toys are better than one. Maybe we’ll start a band? WB has been shaking this thing and crawling around with it since the box arrived. He loves it!

Toddler Tambourine from Hohner Kids

~Little Buddy Wipes from Me4Kidz ($2.49): These wipes are clean messy faces, grimy hands and kill 99% of germs. We are doing our best to avoid getting sick over here so I certainly will use these. And probably will order because they smell so good (they have afresh cucumber & tea-tree scent).

~Tooth Gel by Branam($5.69): Believe it or not, WB still has no teeth. But clearly he’s going to get some soon and this looks amazing. It’s free from fluoride, SLS and saccharin and is recommended by dentists, pediatricians and pharmacists. This actually has got me thinking. Should I be brushing WB’s gums?

~Lip Balm from Pangea Organics($12): I feel like this is the best special mom treat Citrus Lane has sent. It’s a nice size, smells great is can be used (and is needed), but most moms! Perfect!!

Lip Balm from Pangea Organics

All totaled, WB’s February Citrus Lane box had a value of $38.17! Clearly more than the $25/month that the box costs! We were totally happy this month even though, well, I can hear that tambourine shaking in my head ;).

He liked it!

In comparison, here’s what L got in his box:

February Citrus Lane – 4.5 Year Old

Wild Horse Winter by Chronicle Books ($6.49), 6″ Tambourine from Hohner Kids ($10), Fragrance-Free Bubble Bath from Dolphin Organics ($2.25), Toothpaste from Branam ($5.69) and Discovery Toner from Pangea Organics ($12).  The total value of his box was $36.43, right in line with WB’s box!  I’d take a picture of L sitting in the box, but WB barely fits anymore, so there is no way L would ;).

Do you subscribe to Citrus Lane?  What’d you think of this month’s box?  If you don’t subscribe, but want to, click here to save $10 on your subscription!  $15 to try a box like this?  Not a bad deal at all!
