February GLOSSYBOX

I enjoyed the Man Repeller GLOSSYBOX I was sent to review so much, that I decided to sign up for a GLOSSYBOX subscription.  My February GLOSSYBOX (well boxes – more on that later) arrived today and I was very excited to see what was inside.

The Box
The box in the box

Since this month wasn’t a collaboration, we were back to the normal pink boxes, which are just as fancy as the ones last month.  They are just a different color.  I swear, these are perfect gift boxes.

First Look

GLOSSYBOX is always neatly packaged and it really is like opening a present.  Fancy boxes, tissue paper, ribbon, all things I love.

The Information Card

The February GLOSSYBOX theme was International Style and was meant to tie into fashion week and introduce us to products from around the world.  I love this theme, because yeah, I love trying totally new products!

And here’s what was inside:

~Bvlgari Eau Parfumee Au The Blanc Soap ($9.96):  I could smell this soap the minute I opened my mailbox.  It’s not something I would normally use, but in an effort to try new things, I will go it a go!  As a side note, the wrapping on it reminds me of hotel soap.  I was like “oh it’s hotel soap”.  And then I snapped back to reality because I do NOT stay at hotels with Bvlgari soap.

~Da Vinci Cosmetics Shimmer Powder (Harmony) ($15): I love shimmer powder, so I was thrilled to see this!  It can be used anywhere, eyes, cheeks, anywhere you want shimmer.  It comes in lots of fun different colors and I am will be using this ASAP.

~Evologie eSystems Duo Pack Intensive Blemish Serum & Stay Clear Cream ($15): Yeah, for whatever reason, my skin still breaks out.  It’s suppose to rapidly clear blemishes, reduce redness and post acne scarring.  It this works like it says it does, I am buying more.

~LISI Liquid Line Eyeliner (Cauldron) ($7): Eyeliner is like the tea of makeup to me.   Wait, no, I like eyeliner (I hate tea), but I just don’t know really what to do with it all.  I can handle a pencil eyeliner, but a liquid.  I need to get on YouTube and figure this out!

~Nail Rock Nail Wraps ($8): I know some people weren’t overly excited by these, but I cannot wait to try them.  There is no chipping.  Or drying time and they are designed to last up to 10 days.  Thats 2x longer than my current polish, so I am totally game.  I am going to try these tomorrow night after the kids go to bed.  Something tells me it’s going to take my full attention.

All totaled, my Februaruy GLOSSYBOX was valued at $54.96.  While I didn’t love it as much as last month, I did really enjoy being introduced to all these products I had never heard of before.  And it was totally worth the $21/monthly cost!

Did you get a February GLOSSYBOX?  What’d you think?  And if don’t subscribe and want to sign up or learn more, click here and don’t forget to use the code “COLOR” for a free eyeliner (a $20 value).

Okay, and now the BEST part.  For some reason, I received two, yes, two GLOSSYBOX(es) this month.

February GLOSSYBOX #2

My second GLOSSYBOX contained:  Bvlgari Eau Parfumee Au The Blanc Soap ($9.96), Nail Rock Nail Wraps ($8), Da Vinci Cosmetics Shimmer Powder (Bronze) ($15), LISI Creme Eyeliner (Tourmaline) ($10) and MISSHA Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Hydro Gel Mask ($7.86) and had a total value of $50.82.  And since I don’t need two boxes, I am giving one away!!!  Just enter below and I’ll pick a winner next week!
