February Wantable.co Makeup Box

Wantable.com is monthly subscription service that offers hand-selected boxes filled with items that perfectly match your style. You can select from the Premium Makeup Box or the Fashion Jewelry Box (or just get both). Both are $36/month and have a value between $80 – $100.

The Box

Once again I selected for the Premium Makeup Box and was thrilled when it arrived so quickly (via UPS). Why doesn’t everyone ship UPS?? I should also mention that you can select what types of items you want / don’t want in your preferences. I didn’t mark any preferences this month, so I was excited to see what they would pick for me!

First Look

Instead of using confetti or whatever, they packed this month’s items in a scarf!  Best surprise ever!

Second Look

Inside the scarf was the products wrapped all cute in tissue paper.  In was like a present in a present!   The scarf is fun and summery and makes me want to go on vacation (as if I didn’t already want to go).

The Information Card

Like last time, the information card is more of a sheet and less of a card.  While I appreciate the extra information, it does make it harder to photograph (*).

Here’s what was inside:

~29 Cosmetics I-Block Grape Seed Age Eyeshadow Quad: The Valley($39): I had no idea that there was a product like this and I think I am in love. It’s “gentle formula helps delicate skin around the eyes to appear smooth and moisturized while visibly easing the signs of aging”. Umm, hello, I need this. And the colors are beautiful. I am in smitten.

~Paula Dorf Lash Color : Licorice ($21): This smudge-proof mascara conditions, thickens and lengthens to create beautiful flake-proof lashes. As you know I am obsessed with finding the perfect mascara and I am won’t stop until I try every single on out there. Sure I love some of the ones I try (it’s possible this is going to be one of them), but what if I love one of the ones I haven’t tried more? I am like those women who try on a jillon wedding dresses because they are scared there is a better one out there.

~Be a Bombshell Lipgloss – Caliente($14): I received this brand in a previous subscription box but wasn’t a huge fan of the color. This coral color is much more my speed and really reminds me of spring!

~Swagger Cosmetics Highlighting Powder: Champagne in the Bubble Bath($14.50): Ooooh, I really like this highlighter. It’s a great color and I cannot wait to use it. Also, all of Swagger’s products are 100% vegan, completely cruelty free, which is always a plus!

~Milu Beauty Amber Sugar Scrub Sample ($2): I am very excited to try this scrub.  It’s winter and who doesn’t need to give their skin a good exfoliation?  This has lots of vitamins and essentials oils in it.  And a splash of bourbon.  Tell me your not thirsty?

All totaled, the contents of this box are valued at $90.50 (plus the scarf).  Just like they promised, the box contained between $80-$100 in products for only $36!  I loved this box even more than the last Wantable.com box I received and cannot wait to start using everything!
