Thanks to a reader suggestion, I decided to do my Friday iPhone dump a little different this week. Hopefully it’s much easier to read!
1. According to some baby weekly update thing I get e-mailed to me, it says that babies WB’s age play next to other kids, but don’t really play with them. I beg to differ. Maybe it’s because L is older, but WB plays right along with him. L was searching under the couch for treasures yesterday with a flashlight and WB was right along side him, peeking under there too. Certainly he had no clue what they were doing, but he wanted to be right in the action!
2. Before L and Buddy went outside to play yesterday, I instructed L not to get all wet. And wouldn’t you know he came in soaking wet and Buddy came in caked in mud. They both had a great time though, so I suppose that’s all that matters.
3. This kid makes the most hysterical faces. Seriously. In a matter of seconds he can make every face under the sun. I love it. If this kid can’t make you smile, no one can.
4. I’ve probably mentioned it before, but WB isn’t so into letting you feed him anymore (unless it’s like mac n cheese or something). No, he wants to do it himself. Luckily he can feed himself pouch food like an old pro! As soon as he learns how to use a spoon, we’re golden.
5. So I bought this scarf and hat for L over two years ago. And it still fits him perfect. And oddly, it fits WB too. It’s the most perfect hat in the world and I wish GAP still sold it. I would buy more colors!
6. OMG, B did not eat any paczki’s on Paczki Day (aka Fat Tuesday) at work this week. I was stunned. Luckily I picked one up for him just in case he needed an after school snack (at 10pm). He walked in, took one look at it and it was gone in two seconds.
7. L wanted to test out WB’s booster seat (it’s actually L’s old one) to see if he still fit. Sure enough, he did. He wants to eat in it one day. LOL. Okay kid, if you insist!
8. This is the reality of most of our photo sessions. WB trying to escape and L trying to corale him back in. WB does not sit still. He just doesn’t. You gotta distract him if you expect to sit and look at you for a picture. It’s hard work!
9. L loved his Valentine’s Day basket. He also loved WB’s, but it’s not like WB cared that he didn’t get to go through his own basket. I ran across some Skrinky Dinks at JoAnn Fabric’s last week and grabbed some for L’s basket. OMG, biggest hit ever. I forgot how fun those things were to watch “cook”! We’ve totally got to go back for more since B claims he never had them as a kid. Did you??
