~I am *almost* all caught up on my subscription box reviews (unless a new one comes in the mail today). I just need to finish up my SparkPlay one and I am all set! It takes me a long time to write reviews (maybe too long?), but I try to put a lot of thought it them unlike these random rambling posts, I try not to write them very late at night or very early in the morning because they end up making no sense ;).
~If you don’t subscribe to GLOSSYBOX yet, today is your lucky day. You can use the promo / coupon code “love20” to save 20% off your subscription. Not your first month. Your entire subscription. Instead of $21/month, you could buy a year and pay $14.67/month. That’s almost brings it down to what Birchbox costs! I have zero idea how long this code lasts, so take advantage now!
~L has been having a little “staycation” over at his Nana house the past few days, which he thinks is OMGSOCOOL, although he did tell my mom I was “a little more fun” than her ;). But he’s coming home today and we are headed to Build-A-Bear Workshop. I am going to steer him away from the rainbow flowered covered bunny I see being advertising because I think one rainbow stuffed animal is plenty. But we’ll see. If he doesn’t pick the Rockin E.B., the Easter Bunny may just have to bring him or WB one. It’s too cute.
~So B comes home last night and we’re bs’ing in the kitchen and he’s all why is one of your nails a different color (I have 9 black nails and one silver glitter one)? I kinda forget that B isn’t one of my blogger / instagram friends and doesn’t know this is the new thing. I didn’t even bother explaining it. I just shrugged it off.
~And finally, since my Hair Washing Poll was so popular (to date, 63% of you do not wash your hair on a daily basis), I thought I’d stick with the trend and ask “Do You Shower Everyday?”. I’m talking everyday. No exceptions. I am guessing it’s going to be evenly split. It’s possible that this is going to be the most popular poll to date.
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
Okay, I don’t shower everyday. On the weekends I don’t shower until I have to do someplace. So, if I don’t have any place to go, I won’t shower. The exception is that if I don’t leave the house on Saturday, I will have to shower on Sunday. Does that make sense? I can’t go two days with no shower.
But, I do wash my hair everytime I shower. I can’t not. I have super oily hair and if I go a day without washing it, it looks like an oil slick. I am so jealous of all the people who can rock second and third day hair.
(Sorry if this is a double comment. My browser crashed after I hit post.)
Have you tried Glossybox? I thought I saw a review in the past but I can’t find it in your review section. This could be due to a lack of caffeine on my part. I think I’m going to subscribe. Their site seems legit and full of great brands. With the discount this is a pretty great deal! I’ve been on ipsy’s wait list for a while now so this will be a good replacement.
Thursday Thoughts needs yo be a link up!
I have super fine hair so if I don’t shower and wash it every day it looks like it has crisco in it. It makes me sad.
Yes! I totally shower everyday ~ I actually shower twice a day when I work out (and wash my hair both times too!) ~ I would totally smell if I didn’t shower every day! I even make my kids bathe every day! Overkill? Maybe, but I like clean! 🙂
I used your code and ordered Glossybox! WooHoo! Thanks, Jennifer!
I’d like to clarify my no vote – I shower every day, sometimes twice a day, during the hot months, it would be gross to go more than a day being all sweaty.
What? (No judgement, just that no one told me that not showering daily was an option!) folks can skip showering daily? Really?
Pls explain. SOMEONE. Please.
I shower everyday. I don’t function in the morning if I don’t shower. Its the first thing I do in the mornings. I also don’t see how not showering is an option. Its just nasty to me.
showering every day is a must!!. I mean you’re in contact with people, places, cars, all types of germys every day are you not? In the summer when it’s gross and humid even twice a day is a must for me. Also if you don’t shower you don’t change your underwear either?? that is just gross sorry, my opinion.
I don’t shower on the weekends unless I’m going somewhere, so 6 out of 7 days isn’t bad, IMO.
I used to have a SMALL obsession with Build a Bear, just a tiny one, lol. I love that place, where was it when I was a kid, I mean seriously, lol! I have so many different animals and outfits from there I can’t keep up…in fact, I don’t even know where half of them are now, lol.
I have to shower everyday or I just feel grimy. Even if I just stand there lol.
Yes I shower daily & my kids bathe daily… They think I’m the worst mom ever when I make them bathe on the weekends but oh well! I also don’t let my husband in bed if he hasn’t showered… It’s just gross to me. Why get into a clean bed when you aren’t clean? 🙂
I voted “no” even though I typically shower daily. I’m totally okay with skipping a day here or there if I don’t have anyplace to go. Twice daily showers sometimes in the summer if I’m going someplace at night and I’ve been outside getting sweaty or swimming all day.
Aw I was so jumping on that Glossybox but the code didn’t work for me. I’m going to cry lol
Yep…I shower every day…sometimes multiple times per day…if I work out later in the day or am going somewhere special at night. I shampoo most days, but not every time I shower.
I tried to order Glossybox with the discount code and its invalid? Oh poop, I was too late?
I skip showering if I’m not going anywhere, but always change my underwear. Can’t skip more than one day or I feel icky. I always shower after workouts, and sometimes 2-3 times a day if it’s hot & humid.
I’ve never had the Build-a-Bear experience, but that bunny is too cute!
I don’t shower every single day … but I can’t go more than one day without showering in a row. I always put on clean clothes and underwear and usually wash up with a washcloth at the sink — at least the sweaty bits [underarms, etc] just to feel fresh. But if my hair gets wet, I might as well wash it, and as thick and unruly as it is, it takes FOREVER to dry, and then is a dry frizzy mess. Also, my kids bathe every other day right now, too. Once its warmer and they are running around outside getting dirty and sweaty, that will change.
