~First things first, did you watch the Grammy’s last night? Thoughts? I personally thought the best part was my boyfriend Adam Levine, I mean Maroon 5, performing Daylight. And I liked Alicia Keys too, I guess. But good God I love him. I also loved Fun., Justin Timberlake, The Black Keys and, of course, Mumford & Sons. I do kinda wish that John Mayer would have popped up in Taylor Swift’s performance! Not that I think he’s a jerk, but it would have been fun to see him spinning on that thing. And LL Cool J? Yeah, I love him. I think the Grammy’s are my favorite awards show. Unlike the Oscars and even the Emmy’s, not only do I know who all the people are, I have heard all of their work!
~As for the Grammy fashion, J.Lo wins it for me. She clearly did get care about the memo and I loved that she mentioned it. I also liked Rihanna’s dress, Kelly Rowland’s and Miranda Lambert’s! Who do you think was the best dressed?
~It should be a big week around here for Subscription Boxes and I can’t wait. I am expecting PopSugar Must Have, LipFactory, Inc., Wantable.com, Love with Food, Kiwi Crate, Goodies Co., ipsy and The Little Book Club. I can’t even explain to you how much fun I have getting all these boxes in the mail! Love it. Seriously. Retirement is good. I know a lot of you get boxes and I am curious to know which ones you get? Any little ones out there I missing out on?
~L had a great time at his Valentine’s Day party and was oh so thrilled he got CANDY. B(*) took him (WB and I stayed home and painted our nails), so I have no pictures, but I can tell you that L forced B to wear sort of matching outfits ,which B went along with, but wasn’t overly happy about it. After the party B went to the gym and we played outside – where I was able to take some pictures!
~I am planning on doing an entire post about life with no cable and how it’s no big deal. Just as soon as I figure out how to get the internet on my tv (with no cables running between my tv and computer), I will put it up. There is a way and I am going to figure it out.
~And finally, the winner of the Little Passports giveaway is Courtney L!! Congrats! I will pass along your info to them and they will get your prize right out!

I am jealous of your melting snow. We got over 3 feet of snow, and just got a plow down our street to give us a one lane road. We still now have to shovel out the end of our driveway.
I love your blog, after finding it recently. I’m a fellow Michigander and actually work at your alma mater! 😉 I LOVE the subscription boxes and currently subscribe to Ipsy, formerly Birchbox (I got a lot of really skimpy boxes in a row and had to bow out), Goodies Co. and recently was gifted a 3 month PopSugar Must Have subscription!
Can I ask a likely too personal question? How can you afford to subscribe to so many (asking out of pure jealousy! :)). I figure some of them must be comped for reviews?
Hey!
This is not really related to this post. But I remember a post where you said you would love to read more blogs from men too… http://www.danoah.com/
I found this recently (because I live under this rock and it’s cozy), maybe you already read him and he is funny, profound and well… funny.
Congrats to the winner.
I’m super excited for all my subscription stuff too! I get: Citrus Lane, Julep, Goodies (will be my first month), Bluum (hopefully will come on time this month!), Nature Box, Popsugar, Birchbox and Graze. I’m crushing on Graze right now. Their packaging is ADORABLE and the snacks are really good too!
I hope you can figure out a way to get a web browser going on your TV!! You can go the crazy route my husband went and get a server. O.o
I stumbled across you blog from facebook I think, anyways just wanted to say hi and I love that you do all of the sub clubs. Which is your favorite for toddlers?
We’ve been getting citrus lane for almost a year (I have a 13 month old), and have been getting bluum for about 6 months? I’m not sure if I’m going to continue with the $25 toddler box. This month was okay, but pretty much seems like Citrus Lane, and I feel more loyal to them 😉 Should I give anyone else a try? I was interested in possibly trying stork stack, but don’t want to do that and citrus lane since it seems like they might have some overlap of products, plus the whole $50 a month business on non-essentials…
Conscious Box is one of my favorites! Always jam packed.
Hi, Jennifer! I just wanted to share a new subscription box that I saw on my local news this morning. I live in Arkansas, and this startup is based out of Little Rock. Right now, they are still in the “beta” version, so it is probably a good time to jump on board if anyone is interested.
Please see the info below from their website:
