March Bulu Box (Weight Loss)

I hadn’t gotten a Bulu Box in a while so I thought I would resubscribe and check it out. They now have both the original Bulu Box and a Bulu Weight Loss Box, which I thought I would check out this time.

The Box

In the past when I received Bulu Box it was a Birchbox type box except when you opened it, there was no inner box. They have changed to a different box, which I love.

First Look

I didn’t get any prior notification that my Bulu Box was coming and I was surprised and happy to see it when B brought in the mail! I’ll never complain about a subscription box just appearing in my mailbox ;).

The Information Card

The information card is more of a foldout booklet which not only gives you product information, but also instructions on 5 exercises that you can do anywhere.

Here’s what we got:

~Dream Water: When we opened up the box, B actually told me how he just ordered some of this! According to the card, studies show that 6-8 hours of sleep every night can help with weight loss and this will help you achieve quality sleep. I *might* get 6 hours of sleep a night, but I can assure you it’s not quality sleep.

Dream Water

~NRGX Labs Red Stinger: This is going to have to be something B tries because frankly it kind of scares me. It boosts your thermogenic rate (I do not even know what that is), raises your resting metabolism, curbs your appetite and gives you more energy. It sounds good, but I’d prefer to hear about how it works first!

~XyloBurst Xylitol Gum: I think I have mentioned it before, but I don’t like gum. It kinda grosses me out to tell you the truth. B loves it though and will be stealing this sample for sure!

~Prolab Quick Fire: Quick Fire “induces blood flow to help you perform your best and burn more calories”. Again a B item. He gets up at 5am to workout (he goes before work and school) and I am 100% certain he could use a little extra energy from time to time!

~Barlean’s Omega Swirl Fish Oil: I totally need this. It’s got your daily dosage of Omega-3’s and I’ll be the first to admit, I don’t get enough of. I’m not overly good about taking vitamins (except if I am pregnant because then I am on it). I might order a full size of this because it actually does taste good.

~Redd Remedies trueEnergy: The information card says that “these herbs bring balance to the body, allowing for optimal physical and mental energy”. Again, this is another B item. He tries various supplements and this is something he’d totally he up for.

~iTrain Gift Card: I probably wouldn’t go to the iTrain website myself and pay for workouts, but since the gift card is here, I will use it! I think I am going to get some of the iStretch Yoga ones. Before WB I really enjoyed yoga and now that I don’t spend hours a day trying to feed him, I think I can squeeze in some time for it!

iTrain Gift Card

I didn’t go a cost breakdown of my Bulu Box because I think it’s clear that it’s worth over the $10 cost of the box. I subscribed when they had a promotion code to try a box free (it was: “BOX6885”), but I am not sure if that still works? If you try it, will you let me know? I do know that you can use the code “JUMPONIT3” to get 1 month free when you buy 3 months or “JUMPONIT6” to get 3 months free when you buy 6 months (i.e. a 6-month subscription for $30 instead of $60)!

Did you get Bulu Box this month? What’d you think? If you are interested in subscribing or want to learn more, click here.
