February Birchbox Man

B’s March Birchbox Man box arrived today and let me tell you, he was super annoyed that I made him pause while opening it, so I could take pictures.  He didn’t say he was annoyed, but I can tell.

The Box

Nothing different about the box this month. If I am not mistaken, next month (or maybe it’s May) is the first anniversary of Birchbox Man, so I am hoping they do something super fun!

The Box in the Box

The March Birchbox Man theme was about decisions and included items to help your make decisions and execute your plan. It appears that the plan this month is going to be drink perhaps while filling out your March Madness brackets? I think the items in the box will make for some good decision making since the majority are related to drinking. LOL.  B does make his best decisions while half in the bag.  I mean, that’s how he met me.

First Look

In case you care (and you probably don’t), B got box #4 this month and there were a total of 10 different box combinations. All of the bigger lifestyle items appeared to be the same.

The Information Card

Here’s what was inside:

~Birchbox Koozies ($4): I don’t love these, but I also never use bootle koozies (and neither does B), so that might have something to do with it? I might like them more and want to use one if it wasn’t like a fake wood design you know?

Birchbox Koozies

~Areaware Bottle Opener ($14): I have seen this in the Birchbox store and have hoped we would get one in a Birchbox. It turns out it’s our lucky day! I cannot wait to see this in action.  It’s probably happening tonight. The magnet on the top is suppose to keep the caps from flying away and is also so you can attach it to the fridge in your man cave and never lose it. Genius.

~Birchbox Coasters ($12.50): I like these way better than the koozie, but I’ll be the first to admit, we don’t use coasters like we should. I can see B using these coasters while drinking some something he has bought from Caskers and smoking a cigar. It’s possible that this could all happen this weekend since midterms week is over!!!

Birchbox Coasters

~GO247 Texture Paste ($3 – totally a guess since it doesn’t have the sample size on it): I know that B is going to love trying this. His hair is so darn thick (and is out.of.control. right now since his hair girl canceled on him today) and needs some serious product to tame it. I’ve never heard of this brand before, which means totally nothing, but it could just end up being B’s new go too!

GO247 Texture Paste

~TAUN Facial Repair Formula ($9.36): This cream is suppose to “prevent everything from crow’s feet and frown lines to dark spots and uneven skin tone—all without leaving any greasy residue” and kinda want to steal it for myself. But I won’t. I predict B asking me to buy more of this as soon as he uses this up. I better save my Birchbox points!

All totaled, this month’s Birchbox had a value of $42.86 (NOT including points for doing reviews and purchasing the box itself – which would bring the value up to $49.86), which was, as always, way more than the $20 price tag. We totally love Birchbox Man and B looks forward to receiving this box every month. I feel like the bottle opener alone made this box worth it. The rest was just the icing on the cake!
