I was excited to see my March GLOSSYBOX in my mailbox today! My mailbox was actually crazy packed with boxes today, but I opened GLOSSYBOX first!
I’m skipping past the outer box this month. If you want to see what it looks like, check out some of my other GLOSSYBOX reviews. I am still loving the GLOSSYBOX boxes. So fancy. And yeah I keep these too ;).
As always, I am loving the GLOSSYBOX packaging. So pretty. I don’t know why everyone doesn’t package boxes like this. So gorgeous. I should mention that I never got any shipping notification on my GLOSSYBOX. It just appeared. I even looked in my account last night for a tracking number. Nothing.
The March GLOSSYBOX theme is “Spring Fling” and this month’s box is all about “renewal – updating your look, refreshing your skin”. GLOSSYBOX hopes that the items selected will help you shake off winter and add a Spring to your step! How fitting that my box came on the first day of winter. Now, if only they could make it stop snowing here.
Okay, on to the good part. Here’s what my box included:
~Elite Paris Matt Liner (Matt Brown) ($15): Elite Paris is an offshoot of Elite Models and is based in France. This liquid eyeliner is waterproof and long lasting and is not black or teal like I have gotten in prior months / subs. I welcome the change from the normal black eyeliner for sure!
~Koh Gen Do Cosmetics Oriental Plants Emollient Cream ($35.13): Since this retails for $123/1.06oz, it is certain I will love it. It contains vitamin A and botanical extracts which keeps your skin “dewy” and nourished from dryness. I really like the sounds of this! I think some people got a lip liner instead of this cream, but I am loving that I got this!
~Model Co Cheek + Lip Tint ($24): GLOSSYBOX let out a spoiler earlier in the month that this would be included in all boxes this month and I knew I had to get this month. I am so excited to try this and see how it stacks up to my Benetint. And I was very impressed by the size of this. For some reason I thought it would be tiny. Not at all!
~Prestiche Essential Oil Bar Soap (Indie Dreaming) ($16.99): I don’t usually use bar soap, but this has me interested enough that I may give it a try. I love the scent and also that it’s made from all-natural ingredients hand selected by “seasoned botantists, herbalists and cosmetic gurus”. The box also includes a $40 gift code to spend at Prestiche. I’m not going to include it in the value of the box since you will have to pay shipping, but I am totally using this to try one of their other products!!!
~Sebastian Professional Shaper Fierce ($2.41): Ohhh, I love this! I hate lugging around a giant can of hair spray on trips, so this is going to come in very handy. Hopefully it works to keep those crazy post baby fly-aways in place!
All totaled, I came up with a value of $93.53. And that doesn’t even include the $40 gift certificate! I’d say that’s an amazing deal considering that I only paid $21 for the box!
