Edited to Add: Goodies Co. has discontinued their subscription service.
Goodies Co. shipped late this month (I don’t know why, nor do I care) so I didn’t receive my box until yesterday. I had a lot of boxes coming this month, so I had plenty to keep me busy while I waited for Goodies Co. to arrive!
Goodies Co. uses the same size boxes every month, but I want to say they used to be accented with red?
What does everyone do with all the packing materials from these boxes? If I have to ship something I will use them, but other than that I don’t know what to do with them. WB loves them, but I was thinking something a little more eco-friendly.
The April Goodies Co. theme is “Rise and Shine” and included items to help break you out of your breakfast rut. Goodies says “these tasty treats will have you dreaming of deliciousness and racing to the breakfast table”.
Here’s what was included:
~Alo Water Watermelon & Peach: This is totally perfect for me. I previously enjoyed started my day with a Diet Pepsi (don’t judge me), but now I just drink water. This is full of vitamins and minerals and sounds yummy. I’m trying it.
~Ola Handbaked Granola (Vanilla Almond): We got this in the March (?) LWF box and it was good then, so I am certain it will be good this time too!
~Rickland Orchard Greek Yogurt Coated Granola Bar (Cranberry Almond): I have never heard of this brand before, but like we all know, that means nothing. I have never had a greek yogurt granola bar and can’t help but wonder if I will be able to taste the difference? We’ll see!
~BelVita Cinnamon Brown Sugar Breakfast Biscuits: I have tried these (my grocery store was sampling them one day) and they are amazing. I had kinda forgotten about them though, so I was happy to see them when I dug around the box.
~Bonne Maman Strawberry Preserves: I love this little jar and so does L. My mom got a Goodies Box this month too and gave it to L for breakfast the other day with a bagel or something and he loved it. Perfect size for a kid. I plan to do the same with mine!
~Erin Baker’s – Breakfast Cookie (Oatmeal Raisin): I love breakfast cookies, so I this makes me happy. I don’t know what it is, but eating a cookie for breakfast seems so fun! And this cookie is made from whole grain oats and sweetened with fruit puree, so it’s good and good for you.
~Jovan’s All Natural Instant Breakfast: I haven’t had instant breakfast like this in I don’t know how long, but I do recall Carnation instant breakfast being quite delicious. I’ll make L try this with me. He’s very honest with his opinions.
~Nabisco Newtons Triple Berry: I love fig newtons (doesn’t everyone? Maybe not?), but I have never tried triple berry ones. I may have these for a special Easter breakfast tomorrow. Fancy much?
Once again, I loved this month’s Goodies Co. If you don’t get Goodies Co., you should totally consider it! It’s $7/month and and includes “5-8 delicious new foods hand-picked and delivered directly to your doorstep”. AND right now, thru Monday (4/1/13) you can get a Goodies Box thru Plum District (*) for only $5!! I mean, $7 is good, but $5 is better right?
Did you get a Goodies box this month? What’d you think?
