The March Love With Food theme is Classics With A Twist and is described as “Like a new pair of blue jeans, some things never go out of style. But that doesn’t mean they can’t be improved!”. This month LWF is bringing us classic bites and sips with surprising new twists!
I mentioned it last month, but Love With Food changed their packaging. Instead of shipping it in USPS Flat Rate Envelopes, it is now shipped in a clear plastic pouch. I kinda feel like they also changed their shipping method, but I can’t pinpoint exactly how?
One day, I would like to visit LWF and help them pack one of their monthly boxes. I’d never be able to do it and it’d be hysterical to try and watch. I can never get the stuff to fit back perfectly in the box. I don’t know how they do it!! I mean not only do they have to make the items fit the theme, they have to also make sure that they fit in the box.
As always, I’m loving the information card. I thought it was extra cute this month too. And yes, I will be adding it to my collection.
~Chocolate Covered Wasabi Peas by Chocwasabi: I cannot wait to try these things! Wasabi peas covered in chocolate wouldn’t be my normal go to snack, but why not give them a try? I think B will give them a go too. And L for that matter.
~Chocolate Covered Fortune Cookies by Emily’s Chocolates: I can only hope that this has a good fortune in it. They are pretty much the only reason I eat fortune cookies. But I am guessing chocolate covered ones are better than regular ones ;).
~Vanilla Almond Granola form Ola! Foods: This has B’s name all over it. He’s still eating healthy and working out and all that craziness. I wish I had his willpower. That remind me, I should share some of his before and after pictures. He was hot before. But now? Wow.
~Fruit & Veggie Juice by Kids50: Sadly our Foofa juice leaked (I e-mailed LWF so I will let you all know what they say) so we won’t be drinking it. But I might order some because I think L would get a kick out of Yo Gabba Gabba juice. And it doesn’t hurt that it has 50% less calories than other juices out there!
~Salted Caramel Baked Corn by Cosmos Creations: Mmmm. Salted caramel anything is perfect so I know I am going to love this. I have never seen this brand at the store before but I am going to be on the lookout now for sure!
~Wild Berry Flat Fruit by Wacky Apple: I am going to give this to L because this just isn’t my thing. Luckily, it’s totally his though! He’s going to love this.
~Mary’s Gone Crackers Sea Salt Pretzels: Umm, yeah, these are all mine too. I know there was at least one other item from Mary’s Gone Crackers being sent out (maybe some rice cake sort of thing), but I was totally hoping for the sea salt pretzels. SCORE!
~Orange Chocolate Green Tea by Revolution Tea: Yay more tea! LOL. Just kidding. I know a lot of people like tea so I bet people will enjoy this. Just not me. I did learn that my cousin loves tea, so she’s going to be getting a bunch next time I see her!
Tea and all, I loved this month’s Love With Food. I don’t price out LWF because I totally think it’s worth the $12/month cost of the box. Plus, for every box they send, they will donate a meal to a child in need. Best idea ever.
Do you subscribe to Love With Food? What’d you think of this month’s box? And if you don’t subscribe, you better hurry and sign up because Love With Food is pairing up with Andrew Zimmern to bring us a “Weird, Wild & Wonderful Foods” box for April.
