~This afternoon is the beginning of one of my favorite times of year. You know what it is. I don’t even have to say it. And it all kicks off with MY TEAM. The Spartans of Michigan State at 12:15pm. I remember years of watching the games online at work (cough, cough) or tracking the scores on my phone. Not this year! L has “plans” tomorrow, so it’s just me and WB and a giant pile of basketball all day.
~Our garbage disposal broke the other day and I want to cry about it. I didn’t realize how much I really used that thing. You just don’t know what you have till it’s gone I guess. I want it fixed so badly I’d figure out how to do it myself IF I didn’t fear what nasty food bits I’d find when removing the old one. GROSS. So it’s going to have to wait for B.
~It took me almost 24 hours to learn that my girl Farrah (from Teen Mom) was arrested for a DUI on Monday night. FARRAH! I am certain that Farrah will somehow try to blame this on her mom and “Michael”. And also, I find it enjoyable that she’s trying to deny it on Twitter. Umm, how can you deny being arrested? They have records of that. Also, why didn’t I know that Leah had already popped out Baby #3 over a month ago? I knew she was pregnant, but how did I miss that she had the baby?
~I fixed all the subscription box coupon codes / discounts that you all told me didn’t work and hope to play around and look for some more codes today (as long as WB allows it). I learned last night how to make drop downs in my menu bar last night, so if you are looking for the codes list, you can hover over the Subscription Box List and you’ll see the option. I’m still deciding if this is the final spot for it, so stay tuned.
~In other subscription box news, I am still expecting The Little Book Club, Homegrown Collective, Barkbox, Gourmet Spotting, Jungle Stand – Tasting Bar and Doteable this week. Reviews for Dottiebox and SpicySubscriptions are coming soon. Also I had showroom access to Wittlebee last night to select my box and was kinda meh on it at first. However, I browsed through all the ages and ended up picking one piece for WB and two for L and was very pleased with what I found. It let me pick from any size or gender I wanted, so I thought that was neat.
~I mentioned the other day that I am loving Dancing With the Stars. Well, I am also loving that stupid new show Splash. It looks so low rent and cheesy, yet I can’t not watch. I mean I doubt it will be around for Season 2, so I gotta watch now. In horrible trashy tv news, I heard that Bachelor Pad isn’t going to be on this summer ;(. So sad. Also, does anyone know if there is a series of The Challenge coming on MTV anytime soon? Please say yes!

I just wouldn’t want to fix the garbage disposal for fear it would turn on. I make Erin get any utensils that fall down when I’m doing dishes.
Thanks for the trashy TV tips. I’m surprised I haven’t gotten into Teen Mom. I’ve been posting a lot about Dance Moms (see my post from yesterday). Sometimes I deny keeping up with it (see post the day before) but it’s just a train wreck that I can’t look away from.
I signed up for The Little Book Club on Feb 26th, it says they ship twice a month but I haven’t received any shipping notifications and I logged in but it doesn’t say much.
Fixing the garbage disposal is disgusting btw, we did it a few months ago! I am glad hubby was doing it bc I would have been gagging! I did help for some of it, parts of it were just easier with more hands and playing with the putty stuff was fun!
Dude Jenelle’s twitter provides enough entertainment to last a lifetime. Also, WTF is with Farrah’s plastic surgery on her face?! She looks so bad.
So Leah totally kept the birth on the DL until she scored a cover on one of the gossip magazines. And she delivered like 3 or 4 weeks early(she deliver the twins at like 32).
I was so excited to come home to TWO subscription boxes yesterday- Wittlebee (my first one) and Citrus Lane. Yes, I was able to pick from the showroom for wittlebee – my only beef is that there was supposed to be 6 items in there, and I only got 5! So I just sent them an email asking for my 6th item. Loved what they chose for me, and love what I chose, too 🙂 The dresses were of FANTASTIC fabric – something I wouldn’t have bought on my own because it probably would’ve been too expensive, lol. Can’t wait for my next storkstack! 🙂
I suddenly want to watch more TV now that I’m finally finished with school. I’m fighting the urge just clean more instead of TV time. haha.
We’re excited about getting our The Little Bookclub box…I did the plum district deal, so I have no idea how long it will take. It was near the beginning of the month, so maybe next month??
OMG those teen mom girls just make me want to bash my head into a wall. Really girls?! 2 husbands and 3 children – is she even 21 yet?!
Jordan wanted to watch Splash and I wouldn’t let him. If we’re going to watch stupid tv shows, it’s going to be my choice of stupid tv shows like Bad Girls Club or Gypsy Sisters. LOL. Pure trash.

I couldn’t help but laugh when I heard about Farrah getting arrested! Farrah and I are from the same hometown and we went to high school together for a little while. My sister was even a cheerleader with her. And I agree with you, she was drinking and driving yet it’s probably still her moms fault!
