Citrus Lane
April Citrus Lane (12 Months)

My April Citrus Lane box(es) finally arrived today and I gotta tell you, I was getting a little but worried about them!  It has never taken them so long to arrive.  I actually think one got lost when it arrived at my local post office and the other got a little lost somewhere in transit.  But they both arrived safe and sound today and that’s all that matters!

The Box

I get a box for WB and one for L.  L’s box was smaller than WB’s.  I didn’t take a comparison picture, so you are just going to have to take my word for it.

First Look

When I opened the box I forgot that I had opted to add on a Skip*Hop bib for $8.  I don’t believe they have ever offered anything like this before so I figured why not?  Plus, we can ALWAYS use more bibs.  Always.

First Look

This is the real first look, after I remove the bib and opened the tissue paper.  I was SO excited to see the product that they had included from The Honest Co.  I read the spoilers before the box shipped that Honest Co. would be part of the box, but I wasn’t sure which item.

The Information Card

Citrus Lane does not do themes anymore, rather they have just moved to a box of items which are age appropriate for your little one.  This has to be way easier for them!  Oh, I should also mention that Citrus Lane is working to make their boxes more “green” and are shipping out smaller boxes, using less tissue paper per box and the boxes are being produced with solar power.  Pretty cool right?  Here’s what our box included:

~Slide & Seek Toy from Melissa & Doug ($5.99): WB is going to LOVE this.  He saw it when he opened the box, but he will not remember seeing it, so it’s going to be a brand new toy when I give it to him.  I am going to save it for when he’s in a small space and needs to be entertained quietly!

~Packin’SMART Stack-N-Seal 2 Tier from Innobaby ($8.99): I always put dry items in these types of containers, but I think I am going to try something different next time.   Even when we aren’t traveling, the boys (especially L) really like when I put their food in special containers.  It must taste different?  Also these are dishwasher, freezer and microwave safe, which I think is a must for everything.

~Non-Slip Placemat from Oogaa ($8.99): I forget to include those disposable placemats in my diaper bag all the time, but these are going in there and I am NOT taking them out. They grip the table AND you can color on them with a marker, throw them in the dishwasher when you are done and they will be perfectly clean!  Now I wouldn’t trust WB with a marker (he’s eat it), but this has L written all over it!!

~Shampoo & Body Wash from The Honest Company ($9.95): I was so excited to see this was the item from The Honest Co. line that they included.  I LOVE this for the kids, but I haven’t added it to my essentials bundle in a while because I needed other items more (my supply of kids body wash is insane).  These are going to get used ASAP because I love how yummy the kids smell after I use it!

All totaled, my April Citrus Lane box had a value of $33.92.  Certainly not the most “valuable” box ever, but we will totally use everything in the box.

The WB likes it.

I also received a box for L (who turns 5 next month) and it included: Wooden Stamp Set from Melissa & Doug ($6.99), Keepin’ Fresh Kids Food Storage Container from Innobaby ($4), Non-Slip Placemat from Oogaa ($8.99) and Shampoo & Body Wash from The Honest Company ($9.95) for a total value of $29.93.  Again, not overly “valuable”, but everything is totally usable.
