Much to my surprise, my April GLOSSYBOX arrived today. Why I am surprised you ask? Because my USPS tracking says my box is still in New Jersey. Not that I mind of course. I am quite pleased to get the box early!
As always, GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and comes in one of the cutest / prettiest boxes out there. I always love seeing it in my mailbox!
While I LOVE the GLOSSYBOX boxes themselves, I am even more in love with this month’s U.K. GLOSSYBOX box. If you live over there and didn’t get one, you missed out. I’m not even talking about what’s in the box although that was great too. Just the box itself. Seriously. Check it out.
I say it every month, but opening a GLOSSYBOX really is like opening a present. It’s always packaged so beautifully and you can totally tell that someone puts a lot of care into each packing these boxes!
The April GLOSSYBOX theme is “Work That Beauty” and is bringing us feel good products that will help out after a long winter! Also, in honor of Earth Month, the GLOSSYBOX magazine is online only (you can find it here)! Love that!
~TIGI Glow Blush (brillance) ($22): When I saw that this was in the box (GLOSSYBOX usually releases a spoiler each month and this was it for April) I was just kinda meh about it. But now that I have it in my hands and got a chance to test it out, I am thrilled! It’s a great color (way better than my picture shows) and goes on very smooth!
~Bvlgari Tea Bag for Bath ($9.50): I have never heard of tea bags for the bath, but this sounds quite interesting. I don’t like overly smelly baths or really baths in general, but I heard this scent is amazing, so why not? Plus, I like the idea of it being in a little bag because I can’t stand when your bath “thing” doesn’t melt all the way you know? This make clean up easy!
~Alterna Haircare Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousles Texture Mist ($4.45): This spray gives you “just-back-from-the-beach” waves and I am itching to test it out. It gets amazing reviews and I feel like I should just buy an entire bottle right now!
~The Honest Company Organic Lip Balm ($3.65): I have posted about my love for both The Honest Co. and lip balm multiple times, so of course I love this. I was a little surprised to find it in my GLOSSYBOX, but I’m not complaining.
~Wash With Joe ($1.75): This smells….interesting. I have never used a coffeemint scented shower gel, but if it really does help wake you up more quickly, I just may start.
~Le Metier De Beaute ($13.24): I will not like this, I will not like this….. I am going to tell myself that over and over and over again because this is $225/1.7oz. Oh my! However, I am guessing I will end up loving this because, well, how could I not?
All totaled, the April “Work That Beauty” GLOSSYBOX has a value of $54.59! Since GLOSSYBOX is only $21/month, that’s a pretty darn good deal!!! They always have high-end products and have yet to disappoint me with a box!

This Glossybox looks fantastic! Haha I’m always nervous to try expensive product samples too because I don’t want to fall in love with something I couldn’t realistically buy!
ahhh!! how do I pick just one item that I want to try??? I think I will HAVE to go with the hair spray to make beach waves! I love beach hair but I’ve never had a product that worked :(. The waves usually end up falling out after I scrunching it.

I received the Le Metier De Beaute in a previous glossybox and LOVED it!!! Of course I’m not going to pay $225 for the full size tho. I canceled my subscription to glossybox this month, so I’m sad to see that they gave out another sample of this 🙁

I got the box yesterday and I haven’t actually tried anything yet!! I can’t wait to try the hair “spray.” I enjoy glossybox but of course cancelled it like all of my other subscriptions!! 🙂 (by the way, I absolutely loved the UK box too!!!)

This box looks great. I’d love the blush and wow the replenishing cream is expensive. My girlfriends and I were talking the other day about how much is our max on a makeup product. I’m thinking about $100 but just not sure. Hard to think that there isn’t something cheaper that works just as good. LOL
I think, out of everything, I would most like to try the beach wave spray, because I’ve been dying to try Bumble & Bumble’s but it’s SO expensive!

I fell in love with the replenishing cream from Le M?tier when we recieved it in the Man Repeller box so I’m super excited to get to try it again in this months box.
I’m a big fan of the Glossybox box as well! You say your a hoarder or of info cards, well I”m a hoarder of boxes! I have tons of them! Lol…. that and bags. Especially Victoria’s Secret bags (not the paper ones but the cloth totes ya know?) Every time they (or any company) as the sale “Spend X amount of money and get a free tote/bag ” I immediately spend the money so I can get the bag! Ridiculous, I know… I can’t help it! (Plus I just ordered a 4 pack of totes/bags on Fab.com, I seriously don’t know why …. I need an intervention)

First, I want to say that I stumbled upon your blog while looking up subscription box reviews for Citrus Lane last week. I’ve been on bed rest with a fractured ankle (while 6 months preggy!) and have spent all week reading your past articles. Your boys are adorable and I love reading your posts! For the price, Glossybox is a great deal! It seems like everything in this box is ‘useable’ by anyone/everyone, even if it’s something you would not normally buy. I already get Glossybox but I know my daughter would be all over these products…but I would keep the cream for myself 🙂

I received my first box yesterday, and was so pleased. The beach wave spray, and the orange lip balm were wonderful. The blush will go so well with my tanned skin. The bath tea bag is also a welcome treat. Super excited about the box alone. 🙂
