I have been saying for ages I am going to subscribe to NatureBox and I finally did it! My brother and SIL get NatureBox and totally love it and since I am trying to snack smarter, it was time! In case you aren’t familiar, NatureBox is a convenient snack subscription service that delivers delicious snacks to your door each month. A deluxe NatureBox with 5 full-sized bags of snacks is $19.95 per month, shipping is always free, and you can cancel anytime.
NatureBox ships via USPS and it came before I even got a tracking number for it. There’s nothing I like more than a subscription box showing up unannounced!
NatureBox now allows you to customize your box (i.e. you can now pick your favorite 5 items for the box), although since it was my first box, I did not have that option. My brother and SIL do though and totally love it. They usually stick with a few of their favorites every month and try one or two new things as well. That’s my plan too!
NatureBox doesn’t have an information card with product details on it, rather it’s a card that gives you general information on NatureBox and their products. NatureBox items have no high fructose corn syrup, no partially hydrogenated oils, no artificial sweeteners, no artificial flavors, no artificial colors and 0g trans fat. Pretty good right? Here’s what was in our box:
~Chocolate Ginger Bliss: I tested this out and it’s quite tasty. Maybe because it has chocolate chips in it ;)? And the ginger in it may help to soothe headaches or stomach ailments, which is always a bonus!
~Honey Crunch Crisps: Ohhh, I can’t wait to try these. If these taste anywhere close to what I am expecting (sort of Honey Smack cereal like), I am going to be thrilled!!! ETA: These are yummy. And they pretty much do taste like Honey Smacks cereal. WB and L even enjoyed them. I would for sure pick them again.
~Cherry Berry Granola: I love granola and am pleased that this doesn’t have a pile of sugar in it. I think instead of my normal breakfast bars, I am going to start having a little granola in the morning. I suspect it’s a bit more filling! ETA: This was good, but I wasn’t wowed or anything. I did like that it didn’t have weird chunks of fruit in it. I don’t like that! B actually took most of this to work and ate it there. All of sudden I looked and the bag was gone!
~Sunshine Chips: Sunshine Chips offer a rainbow of vegetables such as sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, taro and green beans and I can only hope I love them half as much as I love normal potato chips! ETA: These are good! Do I like them half as much as I like Sour Cream and Cheddar chips? LOL. No! But I’d totally eat them with a sandwich in their place and would for sure include them in a future box.
~Smoky Pumpkin Seeds: I’m not a huge fan of pumpkin seeds (unless it’s Halloween and I cook them myself of course), but I know B likes them and will totally love this snack! ETA: B took this to work, ate the entire bag and I never saw them again. He gives his approval on these for sure!
Broken down, each package of NatureBox works out to be $4/each. That’s less than what you’d pay at your local fancy pants heath store that’s for sure!’
