April Stork Stack

My April Stork Stack took a little detour through Pennsylvania (so random) this month and I wasn’t sure if I’d ever get it, so I was happy when it arrived safe and sound today. I actually got more mail today than some people do in a week and I am both ashamed and excited about it. It was so much stuff my mail lady left me my own mail bin.

Second Look

Stork Stack always comes in the same fun patterned box, so I thought I’d skip the picture this month. The box was packed full and I loved what I saw when I opened it up! I had peeked at a few pictures April Stork Stack’s on Instagram, but I wasn’t 100% sure what we’d get in our box.

The Information Card

The April Stork Stack theme is “Go Green” and includes some of their favorite kid-, mom-, and environmentally-freindly brands and products. Also, Stork Stack is asking to see the creative ways you reuse your Stork Stack box and packaging. I cannot wait to check out everyone’s ideas (on Facebook) and hopefully steal them! Here’s what we got in our box:

~Green Toys: Stacking Cups($11): I have always wanted these, but for whatever reason, I haven’t bought them. So yeah, I was totally excited to see them in the box! And what’s cool is that they also help teach math (they are numbered 1-6), so I think L is also going to enjoy them as much as WB. He’s good with simple addition, but I think he’s going to love to filling the #2 and #4 and realizing that they fit perfect in the #6!

~Apple Park: Organic Picnic Pal Finger Puppet ($12): At first I thought this was just a finger puppet, but it turns out these little Picnic Pals teach children about the enviornment, living a healthy lifestyle and the value of friendship.  Apple Park’s mission is to create unique, lovable and stimulating toys using the finest organic, sustainable and recycled materials.  I am totally looking more into this brand.  I love it already!

~Green Envee: West African Shea and Calendula Children’s Lotion ($22): Now I probably wouldn’t pay $22 for a bottle of lotion, I am totally game to try it.  It’s made from only the purest organic and natural ingredients and is nut-free.  I didn’t know there was even such a thing as nut-free lotion, but I am guessing this is a must have for many families!

~EcoSprout “Green from the Ground Up” Laundry Detergent ($2.95): This laundry detergent is free from dyes, brighteners, enzymes, phosphates and basically anything else bad ;).  While I do hate doing laundry, I am looking forward to try this and seeing how to stacks up to my Honest detergent!

~Clandestino: Banana Bar ($1.99): Well this sounds amazing.  A Milk Chocolate Banana bar?  Yes please! It’s exactly what you’d expect by the name.  A banana bar with a layer of milk chocolate.  Sort of like a granola bar, but a banana bar.  Throw it in your bag, purse, whatever.  I cannot wait to try it!

All totaled, our April Stork Stack had a value of $49.94! Considering that Stork Stack is only $27.99/month, I’d say that’s a pretty sweet deal!  Oh and you can get 20% off just by liking them on Facebook.  The “20% off” button will appear on the right of the membership page, click it and go from there.  And yeah, WB liked it too.
