Bestowed is a monthly subscription box that offers 5+ amazing nutrition and lifestyle products delivered to your door every month – each one hand picked by celebrity nutritionist and author Heather Bauer. It’s $19/month and delivers around the 15th of the month.
The minute I pulled this out of the mailbox, I knew it was the box for me. It’s orange!!! And it ships via USPS and came very quickly. What’s not to love?
I wasn’t sure what to expect from Bestowed, but I was excited to see lots of full sized products in the box. The box was nice and full and was pretty heavy!
Bestowed doesn’t have just a little information card, they have a full page sheet which includes product names, “why we love” and “two tips” for each item. I love that include so much information about the products so you don’t have to go searching about how they should be used or what they will do for you.
~EBoost ($2.80): I’ve tried EBoost before and it is good. And since I have given up soda and get bored with just water, these come at a perfect time. They can be used while traveling (aka when you are around extra germs on an airplane) or for a mid-afternoon pickup instead of the usual cup of coffee!
~iTrain ($25 Gift Card): I think I am going to download a few of their iTread workouts and give them a try. I get SO bored on the treadmill and maybe mixing it up with a SET workout would make it more fun!
~Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts ($2.99): I have never heard of hemp hearts before and am very intrigued. They are loaded with protein and vitamins and are a great way to add essential omegas and protein in your diet. Bestowed suggested sprinkling them on your salad instead of croutons or mixing in your yogurt, which I am going to try, but I think I am also going to try baking with them. Maybe into some sort of protein bar? I need to do a little research on this, but I am sure there is a way!
~Kind Healthy Grains Oats & Honey Clusters ($5.99): Ohhh, I love granola, but unless you are careful you could end up with a granola packed with sugar and fat. And that’s not exactly healthy you know? Kind isn’t like that and I am excited to start my day with this!
~Oloves Hot Chilli Mama Olives ($1.59): We got the lemony flavor in this month’s Love With Food and B LOVED them. So when he saw these he was thrilled. They are already gone. And B said they were amazing!!!!
~Nektar Honey Crystals ($0.80): It’s possible I am the only person on the planet who doesn’t like Greek yogurt, so I like the idea of using these to sweeten it up a little. And also like that you get the benefits of honey without the mess!
~Gnu Foods Hi-Fiber Minis ($4): These little mini bars are probably what I am most excited about. They have only 70 calories, but are packed with beneficial nutrients, minerals, antioxidants and phytonutrients. Bestowed suggests pairing them with your morning yogurt or replacing your mid-morning snack with one and I am going to do just that!
All totaled my Bestowed box has a value of $43.17. Pretty good considering that the box is only $19/$20/month! I love that it has introduced me to new products and given me ideas to change up my routine.
