I was SO excited for my March P!nk Fancy Box to finally arrive because it was suppose to contain extras or however Fancy worded it to make up for the slow shipping of the February Pink box (which arrived in March) and the March box (which arrived in April).
After receiving brightly colored Fancy boxes the last few times, I the white P!nk Fancy Box wasn’t as cool as it used to be. The box weighed 2.1lbs so it was on the lighter side, but whatever.
Like last month, the box looked empty. It wasn’t even half full. The Coco Rocha Fancy Box was the same way and turned out great, so I still had high hopes for this box.
Once again, I will tell you how much I love these little information cards that the Fancy Box has. They score major cute points for sure. And unlike last month, these actually have little descriptions (from P!nk) about why the items are so great.
~“Colour Me Good Hip Hop” by Mel Elliott ($11.21): I can’t say that I ever sat back and thought, wow, I wish I could color Biggie’s picture, but I guess someone did and came up with this coloring book. I do like to color though and I am pretty darn good at it, so maybe next time L is coloring Sponge Bob or whatever, I will color a Tupac picture. I mean why not?
~F The Rain Umbrella ($26.95): Listen I am not some crazy fun governor (no seriously B I am not) or anything, but where in the world am I going to use an umbrella like this and not offend anyone? Picking L up from school? On a walk in my neighborhood with the kids? I feel like it’s just saying F You, not F The Rain. LOL!!! Still I gotta tell you, it’s a cool umbrella. It pops open all fancy with just the press of a button.
~Bass Guitar String Bracelet ($15): This is a very cool bracelet. It’s made from “genuine bass strings comprised of mixed metals” and can be bent and shaped to fit your wrist. I can totally see myself layering this up with some other arm candy and wearing it. This is probably my favorite item in the box.
~3D Dinosaur Cookie Cutters ($12.99): Well L is going to love these and I am guessing he and I will be making dinosaur cookies this week. Something tells me that they are NOT as easy to put together as it appears in the picture. I’ve tried to build enough gingerbread houses to realize that things like this are harder than they looks. Still I suspect we would have eventually ended up buying these because it’s right up out alley and will probably be a lot of fun!
~$25 off coupon: Meh. Fancy has $25 off coupons basically every week so I am not sure why this is included as a bonus item or to say they are sorry for shipping late? I don’t think you can stack coupons can you? If you can I take it all back ;).
According to my calculations, the March P!nk Fancy Box had a value of $66.15. I am not including the $25 off coupon in my value since umm, they have new coupon codes every week for $25 off. It’s still clearly worth more than the $46.95 cost of the box and way more than the $21.95 I paid (I used a coupon). I liked this box better than last month’s mess, but I didn’t love it. Although I would have probably paid $22 for everything in it had I know in advance what it would contain. I do feel like P!nk actually played a role in this month’s box, which also makes me happy! I will probably stick around for one more P!nk Fancy Box and that’s it. Fingers crossed the April box ships ON TIME this month and I don’t get billed for May before I even get April!

I think this might be the most random box ever. I get the themeing but really the coloring book and that umbrella. They do realize most people live in middle america where that is just not appropriate. LOL but as you said I do find it kindof funny. 😉
Ok, I really am laughing out loud at the coloring book and umbrella. Seriously, who thinks of this? The umbrella is fantastic, but you are right, where could you possible take this without looking like a giant a-hole?

Glad I didn’t subscribe to this one, as I don’t really care for anything in this box. The bracelet isn’t bad, but don’t know that I would actually wear it. And seriously, would anyone actually use this umbrella? While I can totally see Pink choosing it, Fancy should have thought of their customers and maybe gently urged her to pick something else. :s

This was my first ever Fancy box and I loved it. I agree with you about the umbrella, but it still makes me laugh. The quality was very good too. I saw it for sale on Fancy for $45! Crazy.
I LOVE the bracelet and put it on immediately. The people that make them sell ones from famous artists or you can design your own. Plus a variety of colors and part of each purchase goes to charity. Definitely a good gift for someone who plays guitar.
Anyway, I’m happy, but I used the $25 off code. Not sure I would have been if I paid full price!
Wow, you’re right, that umbrella is horrifying and unusable. I can’t even imagine an adult seriously using the things you received in your box! It seems like the demographic for this box is 16-19 angsty teen. Jeez. I’m so glad you do these reviews so that I know which boxes NOT to waste my money on!
Oh man…that umbrella is awkward. I couldn’t use it myself. I like the bracelet though! I might get one for my 18 year old brother in law. He’s in a band…a heavy metal band. LOL.
Omg you just had me cracking up about the umbrella! This box isent bad just not what I would have expected a box from pink to be. I really wish we lived closer and could hang out u make me lol all the time! 🙂
Ugh! I was hoping for something cool! I’m definitely canceling, but I ordered Coca Rocha after seeing what you got in it! Yay! What do you think of the PS Sumner Gun Box Spoiler that shows the Nicole Richie sunglasses? I’m tempted now! Have you heard any other rumors about its contents??
Serious!?! What a box of crap. Literally! A coloring book, a grossly offensive umbrella that is of no use at all unless I want to look like trash, guitar string bracelet (I kind of get that….maybe), and 3D cookie cutter. I am so over this box and angry I waited since the last month was a total flop. Has anyone complained I wonder?
