Ramblings of a Suburban Mom

Today I’m smiling because:

~I have big plans to get ALL caught up on my subscription box reviews this weekend! I’m not caught up yet, but I will be. Or else.

~B is running his first half marathon today and the kids and I are going to cheer him on. Plus, it’s going to be amazing out, so being outside is going to be fabulous.

~Every night before L goes to bed, we do best part / worst part of the day. And he never wants the questions to end so he adds his own in there like “what was the cute part of your day” and then gives me a hug and tells me that was the cute part of his day. I can’t get enough of that kid!

~We tried our first HelloFresh meal last and OMG, it was so good. Even B was excited about it. He’s not as easy to impress as I am and he even told me last night how he couldn’t wait to make the next one.

~My Target is getting a makeover and will be getting an expanded grocery area and fresh produce in June!  Don’t think I won’t be going to the grand reopening!

~My (IRL) Fitbit Challenge starts on Monday and all us girls participating are busy trying to figure out what we need to do to win!  Oh and I am still working on setting up a blog challenge of some sort for us all.  Any sort of step counter will work if you want to participate.

~We finally remembered to go to Tim Horton’s for breakfast yesterday and I had such a fun date with my boys.  And WB?  That kid can eat some TimBits!!!

That’s it from here!  What’s got you smiling today?

Spread the love

Tim Horton’s coffee, I swear, has crack in it. My roommates would get cans of it when they went to canada or bring them back from their travels there (before they had any here) and we drink that stuff like our lives depended on it. It was funny how hostile we would get over coffee!

OMG, yay for TimBits! My Little Man has only had them a few times, but he recognizes that box on the counter for sure! I have to hide them in our cupboard now, or else he points at them and whines until I give him one. I can only imagine what it will be like once he starts talking more.

    Have a great day!

Aww, I love that he hugs you and says that was the cute part of his day!!
Good luck to B in his race!!
Is Tim Hortons pretty new there? I knew they were moving in to the States, but don’t know when they moved! Tim bits ARE pretty good!! Lol!
    Have a great weekend!

Love that you have a best part/worst part of the day routine with L every night! He is going to have so many good memories when he grows up!

Sadly targets groceries are expensive. They had like one banana for the price you can get a pound of them at the grocery store.

Hello Fresh sounds amazing!!! I wish they had locations on the west coast! 🙁

This Canadian girl thinks it’s fabulous that you went to Tim’s for breakfast. 🙂

Are you doing the Facebook thing for the challenge?

When I was way younger at summer camp we would go through the “rose and thorn” of our day…same concept.
