Wantable Summer Beauty Box

I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the Wantable Summer (May) Beauty Box and I couldn’t wait to share.  Plus, I thought we needed a break from all those food boxes I have been posted about today!

The Box

Wantable ships via UPS (you know I love that) and, get this, if you are not 100% happy, you are free to ship your box back for a full refund!  Not only that, but you can also opt to skip a month if you don’t need any that month or just don’t have it in your budget that month.  This totally sets Wantable apart for me because most other boxes don’t offer those two things!

First Look

Wantable also allows you to customize your category preferences.  Don’t tell blush?  Say you dislike it and it’s not coming to you.  Love lipstick?  Let them know so they know what items to send.  They also ask about color preferences, texture preferences and so much more.

The bag in the box

This month’s Wantable was packed in a cute little pouch, which I was excited to dig into.  I had no idea what to expect, so it was really find to dump it all out!  I do understand why people like to avoid spoilers, but I just don’t have the willpower for that!

The Information Sheet

Since Wantable does customized boxes, they don’t have a fancy card stock information card.   The card includes information on all the products in the box, which is pretty much all you need.  Oh, and it also shows the products you asked for and the ones you asked not to get, just in case you are wondering why you didn’t receive a certain item.

~Besame Brightening Violet Powder ($22): This isn’t a shimmer powder like i thought it was when I first looked at it.  It’s a “soft translucent loose powder that adds just a hint of brightness for an instant lift to any complexion”.  I have never heard of this product or brand, but it’s possible this to be a new HG (holy grail), like BB cream is to me now.

~Face Stockholm Eyeshadow (#45) ($19): This shadow goes on very smooth and I am loving the color.  It’s not too pink or too crazy or anything. It’s just right.  And I also love the packaging.  So sleek!

~Mia Bellezza Long Last Eyeliner (Indigo) ($16.50): I don’t know why I fear colored eyeliner so much?  Maybe it’s time that I embrace it?  I think I am going to include making an effort to use eyeliner (in all colors) more in my next I’m Totally Trying It!

~Three Custom Color Specialists Eyeshadow (Cool Sage) ($22.50): I may not be down with colored eyeliner, but I can handle shadow in fun colors.  This shadow can be used as a shadow or liner and leaves a satin finish that lasts day and night.

~Cailyn Gel Eyeliner (Black) ($21): This is it.  I am giving gel eyeliner a try.  The instructions on the box make it sound so easy to apply and I don’t know why I am being such a chicken about it.  If it looks like crap, then I will keep trying!  Plus, this packaging makes me want to use it.  It’s so fun!

~La Fresh Makeup Remover Wipes ($1.33): I love these!  I mean let’s face it, sometimes you just don’t feel like even taking off your makeup at all and these take away all the hassle.  If you haven’t tried these yet, you should!

La Fresh Makeup Remover Wipes

All totaled, my Summer (May) Wantable box had a value of $102.33!  The box costs $40 if you just opt for a single box or $36/month if you do a subscription.  Either way, you are getting WAY more than you paid!
