It’s time for the April Edition of “I’m Totally Try It”! I’m going (to try) to be more on the ball items and hope to actually report back right at the beginning of May. In case you are new here, this is how it works – I pick a few things, try them for a month or so and then report back. Here’s what I am giving a go this time:

~DIY Instagram Magnets:  TOTAL FAIL. I thought about buying the stuff for these one day while at Michael’s and then, umm forgot. Oops. I totally do want to complete these though, so swear I am going to put this on my May to do list. It seems like every month there is something I totally don’t try in that month, but I do eventually do it. Like I was suppose to try Sushi in my last one of these and failed to do so in that month. BUT I have tried sushi since I did my update and it’s okay. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it either. I would totally try it again.

~Couch to 5K:  So about two seconds after I posted this last month, I thought “what on earth have I gotten myself into”? I could’t have regretted including this more. However, I actually have been sticking with this and it’s not too bad. I’m on week 6 (of 8 I believe? Or maybe 10?) and I can tell feel it getting less sucky every day. It’s too early to say if I will stick with running after the program, but I will run the 5K I promised B. He still hasn’t picked one out yet though. Fingers crosses for nothing that gets me dirty.

~Moroccan Oil: Umm, I am in LOVE. In love. I have been using this every single day and yeah, my hair seriously does feel thicker. And it’s shiner than ever. I usually put it on while my hair is still wet, but I have tried it while dry too. I feel like I need less “product” when I use this because contains my crazy fly-away hair which I used to use other stuff to slick down. This is just better. I will be buying another bottle of this before I run out. This is a new holy grail for sure.

~Vasoline Spray & Go Moisturizer: Hmm. I am not in love with this, but I don’t hate it either. However, I also probably wouldn’t buy it again. It does exactly what it says it’s going to do, but the lotion is fairly thin, which I don’t like. I suppose I should have expected this since it is a spray, but I didn’t really think too much about it. I like really thick lotions, so this just isn’t the product for me.

~The Honest Life by Jessica Alba:  This book was about what I thought it would be. But that’s not to say that I didn’t enjoy it, because I did. And it does make you think a little (okay, a lot) more about what you are eating, cleaning with, putting in your hair, etc. But will I change the way I dye my hair? It’s doubtful. I already use products from Jessica’s line (which she tells me in the book I should be doing) and I do love them, but will I really be making my own vodka & essential oil air freshening spray? I doubt it. But it’s all about balance. I don’t know anyone who has nothing “bad” in their house. But that said I do continue to try and replace more and more bad things with good ones!!

So there you have it! The results of my I’m Totally Trying It – April Edition! If you linked up for the original post and want to share you results, feel free to link=up again below so we can see how much you all enjoyed your items!!

I’m thinking about starting the couch to 5k and I’m nervous. I seriously hate running and I am terrible at it. Do you really think you’ll be able to run a 5k at the end of it?

Not a bad month at all! I usually fail to complete any of my monthly goals, but that doesn’t stop me from setting new goals! Am curious what Moroccan Oil is supposed to do for your hair? My hair is oily to begin with, so I’m always hesitant to add any more oil to it.

Yay! So proud of you & your C25K progress. I was totally hating on it today as I ventured out for my W3D2 run..But when I was able to push myself through the 3:00 running intervals (when previously that was a pipe dream) I felt so accomplished. It’s the little things in life..

Random question but do you know anyone who blogs about being a single mom or recently separated.

I absolutely love the Moroccan oil. I have used it for a while now.

Will there be a May edition? What is Moroccan oil as compared to Argan oil? I am behind on all this oil stuff. Though I did get some face oil stuff from Citrus Lane several boxes ago and that stuff was awesome. At first I was like oil on my face? What?!
