Bonjour Jolie is a mother-daughter company that provides what you need, as well as what you want, to sail through your monthly periods with ease. Their company is focused on providing a monthly subscription service that discreetly delivers the feminine supplies you need along with product samples and a few things to pamper and sooth you too.

May Bonjour Jolie Box
The Box

I was happy to see that the box shipped plain old USPS Priority Mail. Say what you will about the post office, but it’s one of the best ways to get mail where it needs to be.  And fast.

Second First Look

Since Bonjour Jolie is a brand new subscription, I didn’t have any idea what to expect.  I was very impressed by the packaging and the overall look of the box.  I was expecting like one or two “extras”.  I was totally wrong!

This month’s Bonjour Jolie theme is “A Grand Opening.  A Box of New Relationships and New Beginnings”.  Here’s what it included:

The Basics:

The Supplies

Bonjour Jolie allows you to select from any size, combination and brand of 30 tampons, pads and liners you want.  They have tons of options and send you what you need, when you need it.  And I also liked that they sent the instruction / warning sheet that come in every box of tampons.  No TSS is happening on their watch!!

The Edibles:

2 Chicks with Chocolate 4 piece box: These chocolates were made exclusively for Bonjour Jolie and come in Milk Chocolate Cappuccino, Dark Chocolate Mint, Dark Chocolate Hazelnut and Milk Chocolate Truffle.  Pretty sure I can’t wait to try them all.

Pukka Organic Tea 5 Bags: I think we all know how I feel about tea, but B will happily drink this!  I was happy that it wasn’t all period related you know?  Maybe you want to have a cup of tea at work.  Who wants to be at work fixing a “period blend” tea in the kitchen?

The Pampering:

Indigo Wild – Zum JuJucuzzi Geranium Bath Salts
Bonjour Jolie
The Pampering Samples

The pampering items included Zum JuJucuzzi Geranium Bath Salts, Earth Therapeutics Recover E-Cucumber Eye Pads, Hempz Age Defying Lotion, Pureology Shampoo & Conditioner, Advil and a Lavender Sachet.  I am excited to try out everything (except the Advil because Advil and I are already BFF’s), but I am super excited for the eye pads.  I have been wanting to get some, but have been too lazy to actually, well, get some.  Perfect timing.  I get very little sleep and my eyes are constantly tired and puffy.  I am very excited for these!

The Gift:

Bonjour Jolie
Stila Mini Lip Glaze

Stila Mini Lip Glaze: I didn’t even know Stila made mini lip glazes, but I totally love it!  Can you ever have too many lip glosses? I think NOT!!!

I didn’t do a total value on this box because when it gets to valuing pad and tampons out of the box, well, that’s a little much.  LOL. But I came up with a quick and dirty calculation of $30 for the box.  Not a bad deal considering that the box is $21/month.

What do you think of Bonjour Jolie?  I think it’s a perfect box for young girls getting their  period for the first time or heck even something you order for yourself every month as a special treat!  If you are interested in subscribing (they ship to Canada and the U.S.), click here.

Disclosure: This box was received for review purposes. No compensation was received and (as always) all opinions are my own.

So excited about this! I am pretty sure I pay more than $21 for just my tampons & pads on their own… Yikes! I signed up & was so pleased to see they accommodate allergies. This is huge for me & my gluten free family. Thanks so much for sharing!
