Edited to Add: Carefree Crafts has closed their doors.
Carefree Crafts is a brand new monthly subscription service which delivers fun craft kits to your door every month (or a la carte). Carefree Crafts is perfect for preschool and elementary ages kids (aka L) ages 3-7. Subscriptions start at $12.50/month and contain five (although this month contained six) complete craft kits.
Carefree Crafts ships via USPS and arrives in a padded envelope. I need to be more careful when I open these because I should be reusing these envelopes. I cannot stand buying packaging materials.
This mom’s Carefree Crafts theme is Celebrating Mom and includes 5 (+1 extra) crafts so kids can make Mom & Grandma handmade gifts for Mother’s Day. Umm, pretty sure I love this since I KNOW that no one would be making me a Mother’s Day craft otherwise.
Mom’s Memo Board
The Mom’s Memo Board is a craft for kids to create a magnetic memo board for mom. Kids can also use it to practice their own writing skills. I am personally hoping for a little note from L on mine ;).
Color a Flower Pot for Mom
This is my favorite craft in the entire package! If the boys only get a chance to work on ONE thing, I totally hope it’s this and they plant me a flower in it. L used to make me the cutest little crafts for Mother’s Day at daycare. I miss those projects, but this would make up for it!
Mother’s Day Flower Card
While I know that the boys got me a Mother’s Day present, I am certain they didn’t get me a card. Here you go boys! As a side note, B showed L what they got me for Mother’s Day yesterday and L hasn’t told me yet. I mean I know what it is, but he doesn’t know that. He’s keeping a good secret.
All About My Mom Card
I am cracking up because I KNOW that the picture L draws of me is going to be totally hysterical. Every time he draws a family picture, I crack up.
Mom’s Rainbow Bracelet:
This is a cute and easy project, even for little hands to do. And I will totally add it to my arm party and wear it along side my S&D items!
Make a Butterfly Mosaic for Mom
I’ve gotta tell you, we have made a few of these and they are harder than they look! This may be an item L and I work on for his Nana because I don’t think B has the patience to do it with him as a gift for me!
One again, L and I (or L and B) are going to enjoy the Carefree Crafts kit! And yes, sure you could buy these kits yourself, but Carefree Crafts wants to save you the trouble. Yeah, I know Mother’s Day is next weekend and did I have any crafts for L to do? Umm, no. LOL!!! Now I don’t need to go out and do the leg work! It’s all right here!
What do you think about Carefree Crafts? If you are interested in signing up you are totally in luck because they are offering you the first month for only $5.95 if you use the code “SAVE60”! How awesome is that?? If you want to sign up or learn more, click here!
We got this box and it was a little much for Mackenzie. I put some away to get out later when she can do them. She did do the card and memo board for her grandmas and I just glued and let her put things where she wanted. That was big for myself, the perfectionist. 🙂
