Unlike last month, my Citrus Lane box(es) arrived in a timely manner this month. Citrus Lane is one of my favorite boxes and pretty much everyone I know that has a baby gets a gift subscription from me.
Both of the boxes I received this month were the same size. I get one for WB (13 months) and I used to get one for L, however, since he has aged out of Citrus Lane (they go up to age 5), I changed the age of the box to 37 months (boy). I figure WB can use the items eventually you know?
I didn’t get any offers for add-ons this month, so my boxes looked normal. I don’t really know how they decide who to offer the add-ons too, but I’d get them every time if they offered them to me. They aren’t really a “deal”, but it’s a chance to try something new without the additional shipping expense. Other than some sort of infant blanket (I think), I am not 100% sure what the add-ons were this month. Does anyone know?
The May Citrus Lane box includes some favorite brands from the Citrus Lane community, including Barefoot Books (if you haven’t checked out my giveaway, you should) and Green Toys! Two brands I know I love! Here is what I got in my 13 month-old boy (aka WB) May Citrus Lane box:
~Up, Up, Up!, Book and CD Set from Barefoot Books ($9.99): WB loves all things songs and music, so he is going to love this book. He’s okay with someone reading to him, but someone singing to him? OMG, he loves it. I can’t wait to play this cd for him! Singing can stop WB tears (no he really cries sometimes, I swear) in an instant. This is perfect!
~Race Car from Green Toys ($8.99): I love all things by Green Toys and, as luck would have it, we don’t have this race car yet! WB loves playing with L’s cars, so I think he’s going to be so excited to get his own. And I mention this every time I discuss Green Toys, but they are made from 100% recycled milk containers. I need to know how this happens. Genius!
~Happy Munchies Rice Cakes from Happy Family ($3.59): We’ve gotten these in another box (bluum maybe?) and loved them, so we are happy to get them again. Not only does WB like these, but L does too. And so do I. If you’ve never tried your kid’s / baby’s snacks, I totally recommend it. They are quite delicious.
~Happy Munchies Veggie & Fruit Crisps from Happy Family ($3.59): I can’t remember if we have ever tried these before? I thought we had, but looking at the picture, I am not so sure? They are gluten-free crisps, made from USDA organic fruits and veggies. They look good and I am sure WB will be enjoy gumming them up. He is STILL working on cutting that fruit tooth. You can see it poking through, but it’s just not quite there yet. B jokes that he’s just going to get his adult teeth in and skip the baby teeth ;).
~Moisture Stick from Deep Steep ($5.95): I got this last month from Stork Stack and loved it, so I love that I am getting another one. I love having it in my bag and reach for it instead of lotion 9 times out of 10. If you haven’t tried this yet, I totally recommend it!
All totaled, I came up with a value of $32.11 for my May Citrus Lane Box (for a 13 month-old boy). Once again everything is totally usable and we loved it! And I know a lot of people dislike the pouches in the box, but I was hoping to get one this month! Maybe next month ;). And I thought I’d spare WB a Citrus Lane photo session this month! He’s had a busy week and is trying to catch up on his sleep today ;).
Here is what I received in my 37 month-old boy box: We All Go Traveling By Book & CD Set from Barefoot Books ($9.99), Pizza Set from Green Toys (~$20 I can’t find the exact one online), Happy Munchies Veggie & Fruit Crisps from Happy Family ($3.59) and Meyer Lemon Moravian Cookies from Salem Baking ($1.99) for a total value of $35.57. And once again, I loved it. The Green Toys Pizza Set is adorable!!!
