The Goodies Co.
May Goodies Co.

Everyone who had gotten their May Goodies Co. box already or looked at the spoilers were saying how great this month’s box was, so when it arrived in the mail today, I couldn’t help but open it.

The Box

Goodies Co. ships via FedEx Smart Post and to be honest, I wasn’t even annoyed with it this month.  In fact, I was kind of hoping it wouldn’t arrive until tomorrow because I knew once I got it I would want to review it right away.

First Look

The May Goodies Co. box was PACKED full!  OMG, I was totally impressed.  And it was heavy.  If I were to ship this exact box to someone, it would cost me more than the $7 I paid for the box.  I don’t know how they do it, but it’s fair to say WalMart gets an INSANE deal on shipping from FedEx.

Sadly, The Goodies Co. has done away with their information cards, which I suspect has something to do with the differences in the boxes they have now.  I got Box #4 this month.  I’m not sure how many different box combinations they had this month, but I think it was more than 7?  Here’s what was included in Box #4:

~Zico – Coconut Water: My account online said I got Chocolate Coconut Water, but this looks like plain old coconut water to me.  To be honest, I have tried coconut water and I am NOT a fan.  Does anyone know if there is something I can mix this with to make it yummy?

~Beanitos – Nacho Cheese, White Bean Chips: These look great!!  I love when box companies send chip samples.  I don’t like committing to a big bag of chips I’ve never tried before, so these are perfect.  I look forward to trying these!

~Numi – Organic Moroccan Mint Tea: Ahhh, tea.  You know how I feel about tea.  And if you don’t, well, it’s not good.  B likes tea though, so I will put this by his work stuff and off it will go.  He not only likes tea, he loves it!

~Bronco Bob’s – Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce: I had to google to figure out what one does with this and it turns out you can use it for grilling, dipping and appetizers.  I am certain B will use it for grilling.  Now that he’s home for dinner every night (which is amazing by the way), there is going to be a lot of grilling going on!

~Sour Power Straws – Strawberry & Sour Power Straws – Sortz: L would like to thank whoever selected these for the box.  He LOVES them!  Loves them.  And I’m not going to lie, I enjoyed them as well ;).

~California Olive Ranch – Olive Oil: I’ve tried a bunch of new olive oils lately and I gotta tell you, I like them all.  TOTALLY weird, but it never occurred to me that olive oil is actually made from olives.  Don’t even ask what I thought it was made from. I have no idea.

~SuperSeedz – Sea Salt: Sea Salt pumpkin seeds?  I don’t see what the problem with these could be!  I love cooking (okay eating) seeds after we carve pumpkins, but I never think to buy them any other time of the year.

~Wholly Guacamole Product Coupon & Chip Clip: FREE guacamole and a chip clip?  This may be my favorite item ever from Goodies Co!  I love guac and somehow chip clips disappear from my house quite often.  This is awesome!

As always, I loved this month’s Goodies Co.  If you don’t get Goodies Co., you should totally consider it!  It’s $7/month and and includes “5-8 delicious new foods hand-picked and delivered directly to your doorstep”.   All this for $7?  Can you really go wrong?  And like I said last month, I’d even pay $7.50/month if we could get the information card back  .

Did you get a Goodies box this month?  What’d you think?  What box number did you get and what was inside.  If you are interested in signing up or just want to learn more, click here.  And use the code “SKIPTHELINE” to bypass the waiting list!
