MyIrelandBox Craft box is a new subscription box straight from Ireland to your doorstep! The box includes 1 large or 2-4 Irish made/designed home goods, accessories, jewellery, stationary or beauty products.
I don’t know how long it took my box to arrive from overseas this month since I was out of town, but I know it was quick. If you are worried about subscribing to this box because it is based in another country, don’t be. Your box will arrive safe and sound and the owner of MyIrelandBox (Katharine) is amazing about amazing e-mails and really cares about her business.
It finally occurred to me why they use green tissue, green writing, etc. When you think of Ireland, you think of green right? Well most people do. It took me a bit to put it together ;).
For May, MyIrelandBox Craft included two high-end Irish made items. Both have been created by two of Ireland’s leading designers. Since I loved last month’s box so much, I couldn’t wait to check out what was inside.
~Table Cloth by Jennifer Slattery ($25.76): Jennifer Slattery is based in Dublin and is one of Ireland’s leading textile designers. I checked out her online shop and she has so many beautiful items. Her vase cushion? OMG. Stunning! I am thinking about using this mini tablecloth / tray cover as part of a tea party themed birthday gift for a little girl. How cute would that be??
~Earrings by Blaithín Ennis (~$70.83): I can’t find these exact earrings online, but I found a similar pair so I went with that price. Umm, these earrings are stunning. Absolutely stunning. I don’t even know what else to say about these. They are amazing. I don’t even think my picture(s) do them justice.
~bia beauty Facial Exfoliant & Cleanser (Orange & Grapefruit) (Sample): bia beauty was started by a new mom (or mum if you are Irish) who was worried about what what she was putting on families skin. So she started her own brand. This smells amazing and I look forward to try it!!
All totaled, I came up with a value of $96.59 for the May MyIrelandCraft box. A complete deal considering the box is $46/month! I love this box because it gives me a chance to check out artists from other countries and learn about what they do. It’s fun to be able to discover so many amazing things!!
