1. In a someone rash decision we removed the pine tree we had in our front yard. It was growing FAST and we knew if we waited too long we’d have had to hire it out because it would have been too big to do it ourselves! I casually mentioned to my brother we wanted it gone and got some advice about what to do about it. Well a few hours later he was over and the tree was gone. It took longer than anticipated and it’s a good thing we did it when we did! And yes that is L in pjs with feet. And that’s Gucci, the neighbor dog we all love.
2. L has been sleeping in SO late this week. I don’t know what’s up with him, but I’m just going with it. A few days this week WB has been down for his morning nap before L has even woke up. And listen, WB doesn’t get up early. He’s up at like 9 and down by 10:30am. Listen, I know. It’s crazy. He gets all pissy if he has to skip his morning nap too.
3. Someone was excited to see their brother graduate!! Actually, he’s always excited to see his brother. When they reconnect in the morning it’s like they haven’t seen each other in ages. WB goes crazy!
4. I know some of you wanted to see B in his new swim trunks (or swim headband as one of you referred to it as and I LOVED!!), so here it is. I cropped the picture to make it safe for work. It wasn’t really unsafe for work, but it would have been weird if someone walked by and saw some dude in a tiny trunks on your screen.
5. OMG, so remember how I posted earlier in the week about how I wanted to make sure L didn’t forget everything he learned in school over the summer? Well it turns out his elementary school doesn’t either. I took him there for his kindergarten assessment test this week and they gave us this huge packet of goodies and learning games and workbooks and other fun things! AMAZING!! Just what I needed.
6. I don’t know what was up with this expression during the graduation ceremony, but I adored it. Also, I was stumped on what a kid wears to graduation. I thought *maybe* about khaki pants, but L said he’d rather wear shorts. You got it kid.
7. Everyday we go bike riding. L is obsessed. Did I mention I fell off my bike the other day? I am laughing just thinking about it. B was so embarrassed. For himself.
8. We tried the Jif Whips I mentioned on Wednesday and they were a big hit. Super fluffy and airy and of course, delicious.
9. B is always trying to talk WB into snuggling and yeah, WB isn’t having it. At all. So not into it. But still B tries.
