June Goodies Co. Box
June Goodies Co. Box

My June Goodies Co. box arrived yesterday, which was too days too late. Had it arrived on Saturday, I could have enjoyed these delicious treats, but now that the Challenge has started? Not happening. I considered doing a little giveaway, but I spaced when I opened the box and fed WB the pouch from it after I took pictures. Sorry ;(

The Box

Goodies Co. ships with FedEx Smart Post, so it’s no surprise it didn’t come sooner. I always wonder though, how on earth Goodies can ship so cheaply. It’s amazing.  It’s certainly something smaller companies (Goodies Co. is a WalMart Labs company) wouldn’t be able to do.

First Look

I kind of dreaded opening the box because I didn’t want to see like a giant bag of pretzel m&m’s in there or anything.  But while I saw a few snacky things that looked good, they didn’t want to make me gnaw my arm off either.

The non-information information card

Sadly, Goodies still has no information card ;(.  They got rid of it a few months ago and now direct you to their website to find out this information.  The June Goodies Co. Tasters Box tasty included a selection inspired by flavors from across the globe.  Here’s what we received:

Pringles Stix Cheese: These are the snacks in the box that I most wanted to try. I had no idea such a product even existed and I totally would have bought them if I did!  I am going to give these to L in a muffin tin meal because I know he’ll enjoy them!

STAX Que Rico – Adobadas Chips: Goodies Co. says these are best sellers south of the border and aren’t available in the U.S.  Actually it says they are a Taster’s Box exclusive, which led me to believe you couldn’t get them here?  However, The Junk Food guy has tried them and it looks like he just walked into WalMart and picked them up, so who knows?  Either way, these look good, but I won’t break!  Next time someone comes over they are leaving with chips.  People rarely leave here empty handed 😉

Duchy Originals – Highland Shortbread: WB and L sampled these for me and they both enjoyed them.  L said they were yummy and WB didn’t throw it on the floor, so I know he liked it too.  And they did smell really good!

Smooch Snacks – Apple, Raspberry, Peach, Chia & Acerola: I have never heard of Smooch Snacks before, but WB loved this.  He is still addicted to pouches (it may be because he’s only got two teeth or because I let him control the pouches, but he loves them) and sucked this right now.  I need to find out where I can buy more of these around here!

Dream Water NightTEA Night: B likes Dream Water and will totally use this.  I’d never buy Dream Water on its own, but it doesn’t go to waste when it’s here!

Gimme Health – Cheddar Cheese Seaweed Crumbles: OMG, three boxes had seaweed this month.  Is seaweed the new tea?  Say it isn’t so.  I thought *maybe* I was giving seaweed such a hard time because I didn’t like it, so I fed it to the kids.  WB has no idea what things are when I give them to him and he’ll put anything in his mouth.  L, well, he’s a little smart than that and took one look and was like NO WAY.  He knew what it was and was like come on mama.  But I told him to try it because it was cheese flavored and it would be good.  They both hated.  WB spit it out and L acted like he was being poisoned. It’s fair to say we won’t be buying seaweed in bulk here anytime soon ;).

He’ll share. L was over the seaweed before I could even snap a picture.

Even thought I didn’t eat any of it, I loved this month’s Goodies Co.  I always do!  If you don’t get Goodies Co., you should totally consider it.  It’s $7/month and and includes “5-8 delicious new foods hand-picked and delivered directly to your doorstep”.   All this for $7? Yes please!

Did you get a Goodies box this month?  What’d you think?  What box number did you get and what was inside.  If you are interested in signing up or just want to learn more, clickhere.  And use the code “SKIPTHELINE6” to bypass the waiting list!
