I am, once again, linking up with Ashley and Neely for today’s Sunday Social.
1. What is your favorite store to shop at?
Umm, Target of course! It’s one stop shopping at it’s finest. I don’t know what I’d do without that place. My second favorite would be lululemon. Not a day goes by that I am not wearing something lulu. I am SO GLAD there is not one closer to me. The nearest one is 30-45 minutes and that’s a safe enough distance that I don’t run there every day like I would if it were 5 minutes away. If my local mall gets a lulu, I will probably need to move farther away.
2. If you could afford anything and everything, which designer brand would you covet?
I’d get Hermes Birkins in every color. I’d start with black and then I’d go crazy with the fun colors, like Kim K in the picture below. I actually am not a huge fan of hers, but I love love love this look.
3. What is your must have closet staple?
A black cardigan or wrap. It can work so many ways and it will never go out of style.
4. What is your favorite kind of shoes? (brand or type)
I wish I could be all fancy and tell you that manolos or whatever were my go-to favorite shoes, but year, things over here just aren’t like that. My favorite kind of shoes are flip-flops. In the winter I am forced to wear actual shoes, but I long for flip-flop season!
5. What is the best clothing deal you’ve ever gotten? (sale or amazing find)
This is hard because I don’t do the TJ Maxx / Marshalls /Thrift Shop thing. But I did once win a Jimmy Choo handbag in an E-Online contest, so I’m going with that. Getting a super expensive bag free is a great deal in my book. And oddly, the last time I talked about this (and a Birkin) was in an old Sunday Social. OMG wait, we did this exact same Sunday Social last summer!!! I pretty much answered everything the same too!! You can read the old one here.
6. What is a style you’d love to try?
I still don’t have a style I want to try. This year *maybe* I’ll work towards not wearing yoga pants everyday?? Maybe.
I love Target…and I once got a very expensive bag at a thrift store for not that much money. I don’t think the owner had ANY clue what it was, just that it was made in Italy and real leather ha.
I am so with you about Target and Lulu 🙂 Today I had on my pace shorts and a tank lol.I need to stop buying it!
I love flats or my Uggs. I used to love heels or wedges but I rarely wear them now with 3 small kids!
I am glad you said Target was your favourite store! I really love that outfit Kin is wearing!

It’s ok to love manolos AND flip flops! 😉 And, after long lusting for one, I finally got my first birkin last year (signature orange) and *sigh* it’s everything I thought it would be!! 😀
I’m a big fan of $15 yoga pants from Target…. I don’t think I could ever spend $90 on a pair! Yikes! (I save that for buying $120 pairs of jeans from the Buckle! Tehe). I love the way the yoga pants at Target fit! I just bought two new pairs a couple days ago when I was at my beloved Target! 🙂
1. I spend more time at Target than any other store. And I just looked up lululemon…there is one ten minutes from me.
2. Hermes – Because I’m a purse person, but they have scarves and all sorts of other wonderful goodies. I’d say Manolo’s but they don’t fit my feet.
3. Target t-shirts. Short sleeve, V-neck, solid colors.
4. Crocs, but not the funky chunky ones, their flip flops and their old Melinda style. So comfortable and no one ever knew they were crocs.
5. I had a wonderful online friend (an older woman who was also a hockey fan) who sent me an Ugg Purse one year for my birthday and then an Etienne Aigner bag. She was the kindest lady. My MIL gave me some Manolo’s and Chanel shoes that alas didn’t fit. I kept them just to have them 🙂
6. Rich. But then I’d have to be….
