I can’t talk N starts school next week but I’ve been buying supplies for a couple weeks. I would grab whatever was the sale that week so that I was saving some money. Do you have your list yet? Target here has already had some great weekly deals on supplies.
My oldest starts school 08/07. I don’t think the supplies have been out for long here in GA though. I did notice last night that they were putting out fall decorations though. That always blows my mind.
I?m tired of Wiener? I live in NY and I don?t want to know about his sexting problems ? it?s embarrassing. I?m pretty sure in the southern hot states school starts mid August and then lets out earlier? I think it has to do with weather. I tried googling it for like 5 minutes and wasn?t finding anything explaining it. You should do a poll on what date elementary school starts where you?re from. I?d love that. Oh and GinaMarie is ridic about Nick!
Oh, mine can’t WAIT to buy school supplies. We’ve already done it, they would have started in June if I let them! Maybe because they’re a little older? Maybe because they’re girls and they get so excited about all the cute stuff?? LOL
I wish Ginamarie would get over it!!! She is driving me nuts! And why didn’t they send home Aaryn? Really?
I also have bought school supplies but we start next Tuesday and yes buy now!! Check your schools website for a list. Or go and buy just basic stuff. It’s cheap right now!!
I feel like Nick will be looking into a restraining order against Ginamarie, especially since they live so close to each other in real life. I can’t even imagine.
And my kid is too young for school supplies, but I feel like I will be the mother that goes out of her way to get the good deals on things, buying crayons one week and binders the next until I have everything he needs. 😀
Target has really good school supply sales and with Dillon having crazy supply requests (like 24 small Elmers glue sticks) I need to shop the sales. Full price for school supplies is just crazy.
Kids start back to school here in about three weeks so it’s not to early around here for school supplies.
Though our Michaels put out all their Hallween stuff last week. Seriously THAT’S too dang early!
We live in KY & our school starts Aug 8th. The school supply lists were posted like July 10th. My girls would’ve gone that night if I’d let them, they are so excited about it. But like Ryan said maybe its because they want to buy cute things.
Yes, you should DEFINITELY buy school supplies now! Right now, the deals are great, the store displays are clean and well-organized, and the stores aren’t crowded.
I waited til a few nights before school started for my brand-new kindergartener last year, and it was horrid. Stuff was everywhere, they were out of a few things (seriously, the first place I went to was OUT OF CRAYONS, and I only found enough glue sticks because I found some stashed on a shelf nowhere near school supplies), and it will be super-crowded because everyone else will be out!
All my kids’ supplies are bought, but our state is doing a tax-free holiday on Aug 2-4, and we’ll be doing school clothing shopping then. I don’t care so much about the tax on a $0.50 pack of glue sticks, but on a $15 shirt? I’ll wait, thanks!)
I reallllly want to go to Vegas. Maybe that needs to be my 30th birthday thing (which is ahem next year…not cool…).

Our school starts August 8th here and they usually get out around Memorial Day. I have no idea why they start so early. It will be as hot as blue blazes here! I have not shopped yet but my son is in high school so we usually wait to see what he needs. Then it’s all gone. What I think is crazy is that Hobby Lobby has all their Christmas stuff out already!! I refuse to even look that way until after Halloween.
It would have been one thing if Nick had actually been interested in her, but he was totally forcing it! And now she’s just a grammatically-challenged puppy, whining about him every chance she gets. I solely wanted her out of the house for that. I didn’t want to see Kaitlyn go just yet but I get why she’s gone.
I REALLY hope the Ziiiingbot comes in while GinaMarie is still there. I want him to zing her about her obsession with Nick. Who got zinged last year about a restraining order? I cant remember but I remember it was SUPER funny.
