I had no idea that Petit Vour was coming (I do love surprise boxes), but I was anxious to check it out. I received the first box in May which was great, didn’t get the June box which I heard was not so great, so I was curious to see what they’d do in July.

I was pleasantly surprised by the first look and was happy that while everything looked good, I also did not recognize anything!

The Information Card

The July Petit Vour doesn’t have a defined theme, but this July Petit Vour is going bold and they aren’t afraid to show it.  And they have also included a few items to help us unwind after a long day.  Here is what the July Petit Vour box included:

~Beauty Without Cruelty Natural Eye Pencil (Delft Blue) ($16.95):  I get tons of eyeliner but I just can’t use it up fast enough.  I’m going to pass this along to a friend who I know will love it and appreciate it more than I will!

~Dr. Remedy Enriched Nail Polish (Rescue Red) ($17): I totally love this polish and loved it even more when I tested it and discovered that it wasn’t a super bright red, but is more of a hot pink’ish red.  Fingers crossed this brand appears in more subscription boxes because it’s great!

~Nun Aknari No. 1 ($6.33): I tested this out last night and so far so good.  It hasn’t made my skin feel dry like some argan oil does (this is a combination of prickly pear seed oil and argan oil) and makes it nice and soft.  I don’t love the smell though, so that would probably stop me from buying the full size.  Well, that and the price.

~Sumbody Soap Pre, Handmade Soap (luscious lavender) ($1.98): This smells very spa like and I don’t know if B will get to it first or if I will, but someone is in for a treat.  I might just use this as a hand soap so we can both enjoy it.

~Kimberly Sayer Tangerine and Calndula Cream ($2.40): This smells delicious and is suppose to reduce acne scars and sun damage.  I only wish the sample were bigger because this seems amazing!

All totaled, the July Petit Vour box had a value of $44.66.  This is an amazing deal considering that the box itself is only $15/month (and even less if you get a 3- or 6 month subscription). Petit Vour seemed to have recovered from last month’s misstep and hopefully it’s a trend that continues.

I tried Petit Vour the first two months and disliked the boxes and the customer service.

With that said…you mentioned not knowing if you or B would get to it first? Does that mean you don’t share bar soap in the shower…you each have separate ones?

Dr. Remedy’s nail polish is given/sold to people with toenail fungus by podiatrists. Usually people apply tea tree oil to the nail but it rubs off becoming ineffective. This nail polish is supposed to help with that, since it’s mixed into the polish it adheres to the nail until you remove it.

I love petit vour! This is my 2nd box (last month was my first, and I know a lot of people had issues with it, but I really liked it), and I plan on getting a 3 or 6 month subscription on payday. They may end up edging out BB as my fav beauty box.
