July Fancy Food Box

Eeek! I was so excited when I got my shipping notification earlier this week for my July Fancy Food Box! Of all the Fancy boxes, Fancy Food Box is the most reliable. They send the boxes on time and might just be my favorite Fancy Boxes.

The Box

Fancy ships via FedEx and my FedEx lady arrived bright and early this morning! L saw the box on the porch and noted that green wasn’t his favorite Fancy Box color. He prefers the pink (purple) one. He then went on to ask “what in the world comes in all these boxes anyway”….

First Look

I hadn’t gotten a chance to stalk the internet for spoilers, so I was super curious to see what was in the July Fancy Food Box.  And the first look did not disappoint at all!  I was thrilled by what I saw.

The Information Cards

I was so excited to start digging into the box I almost forgot to take pictures of the information cards!  But I back tracked and got a quick picture.  Here’s what was inside the July box:

~Early Bird Farmhand’s Choice Granola ($9): B has been making short work of all the granola we have in the house right now (he snacks on it after runs) and I know he’s going to love this.  I tried a handful and it is quite yummy!

~Brad’s Raw Foods Classy Coconut Onion Rings ($7.99): I wasn’t going to open these until B got home, but my curiosity got the best of me!  They are delicious.  Very tasty, lots of flavor and very satisfying!  If they had just a tad more crunch, I’d buy these by the boatload!

~Pomegranate Springs Pepper Elixir ($1.99): I don’t want to waste this, so I am saving it to try one day when B and I are feeling crazy! It’s not something I would normally buy at all, but is suppose to increase your metabolism and steal the toxins out of your body.  The information card warns to “sip lightly at first”.  Interesting and scary at the same time!

~nonna’s sweet sauce ($10):  I have not had pasta of any type in way too long and I plan to  do it up right after the Challenge is over and this is going to be perfect.  I always enjoy trying new pasta sauces and this one sounds amazing.

~Big Picture Farm Farmstead Goat Milk Caramels ($10.99): I suspect there is going to be  some caramel eating tonight when B gets home! I tried one (someone has to do the dirty work) and yeah, they are amazing!  In fact, I want more, but limited myself to just one.  I may need to hide these.  From myself.

~Black + Blum Bento Box ($19): I received one of these in a previous Fancy Box and LOVE it so I am totally thrilled to get another.  Now L and I can both use them!  Heck, I hope Fancy Box sends another one.  Maybe in one of my celebrity curated boxes.

All totaled I came up with a value of $58.97 for the July Fancy Food Box. As always it was higher than the $46.95 cost of the box ($39 + $7.95/shipping) and I am totally thrilled with this box!!!  The Bento Box really made this box amazing for me.  I seriously love those things!

Did you get a Fancy Food Box this month?  What’d you think?  If you are interested in subscribing or want to learn more, click here.  Ohh, and if you are having trouble finding the different Fancy boxes, just do a search for “Fancy Box” and they will all come up!  And I STILL cant find a Fancy Box code.  UGH.  You can use “FOLLOWUP10″ to save 10% off your box, but I’m still on the hunt for something bigger!
